I have the exact same problem, have a service appointment in 2 weeks. The creak started after they performed the recall fixes, the creaking keeps getting louder. I did the "tape" fix and I no longer hear the annoying creak, will remove it before my service appointment so they can properly fix it.

Granted everything you said! I do love the truck. But c'mon, spreading glue evenly should not be that hard. Even the quickest quality inspection after the service, and I want to emphasis after service should be able to see these things. As I said on my original post, I knew what I was getting...

Definitely not going back to that service center again, they asked me to bring the car in so that the supervisor can take a look, I told them no, and request them to transfer the case.
