Weird. I had the gateway installed over the summer. Have had several power outages since then and the Truck's powershare worked great every time. And I have solar. What are they talking about?
Man, I took delivery in March and still don’t have my wheel covers. I really like the beastly tires that it comes with but I can’t argue with that range!
I had to move my PowerShare gateway from my old house to my new here in CA. Well hours after the install the power went out! Plugged my Cybertruck in and within 20 seconds we had power!
Only thing I don’t understand is why the app says we’re still drawing from the grid.
I took delivery in March and have done some (much shorter) road trips around California and have had zero issues as well. It’s turning out to be a really useful truck as well. I’ve done a lot of hauling of stuff, filling the bed past what the tonneau would cover. No. Issues.
I’m in love ❤️
ITS working again
I left my truck at the airport for three days (and did turn sentry mode off). I got back on the car and the GPS was still wrong. But after driving for a minute it snapped into correct position!
I did try several soft resets to no avail, and its been like this for at least 2 days now. Interesting that others are having a similar issue. Tesla service technician asked for more details, and I do think its interesting that they want me to bring it into the center for "parts".
Ah so I'm not the only! @jayv06 thats exactly what I starting seeing and it just got progressively worse. I made an appointment but they're making me bring the truck into a service center, I suspect because there are other service bulletins and what not they want to take care of.
We were driving in the truck when suddenly the GPS location drifted away from our actually location, snapped back, then did it again. It kept drifting further and further away from our actual location. And now is permanently heating the truck is located 2 miles away from here. What gives?
I mean I feel similarly. I didn't notice it for the first few weeks, and most of the time I don't notice it because I've gotten used to it. I have a model X and it also creaks. I kind of assume its what happens when you don't have engine noise. But I dunno - maybe not!
This would be great if true. I love the idea that the truck can get more efficient with software updates over time. My biggest concern about the CT is limited range especially when towing.
The software isn’t supported yet but I got my PowerShare gateway installed yesterday. Now I just need to figure out how to merge my two “homes” in my Tesla app (I have old Tesla solar panels).

I've had luck with first water blasting them with a hose as best you can, then taking a car washing glove and using Liquid X car shampoo to just wipe them off. Rinse with the hose then dry with a microfiber towel.
