Interesting. Donut Media just did the same thing in a $2,000 Jeep Liberty on the Rubicon and their tie rods didn’t take nearly as much damage. They definitely had more fun than being stuck on the trail for a week.
Love the design! But I’m holding off for now because:
The air suspension doesn’t have much travel in Very High or Extract mode.
The current battery skid plate seems a bit thin and could be at risk of punctures or bending even before the original bumper is likely to get scratched.
