Here in Michigan, I see a CT at least once daily and also see carriers filled with all model Teslas going to Canada via I-69 on a daily basis. I can Imagine there are hundred's being shipped to Mexico as well. They are increasing the CT production this year.

Tesla Roadside Assistance will have you covered, you may have to wait 1hr or so depending of your location but they will get you.
Also AAA has been trained.
I noticed several CT's parked at the Clarkston Service Center last week and buyers taking delivery there. Agree with forum members, due to Michigan's rules, the unit needs to be paid before it enters Michigan State Line then you take delivery at your closest location.
Common sense should prevail, this should be considered a same owner transfer with no gains. I would notify Tesla of this transfer to let them know. Local sales tax may apply though, some States recognize the Same ownership transfer but most do not and will charge you a sales tax again. Good Luck.
