  1. ? [Update: NOT Production Wiper] New Cybertruck design spied! Shortened front, no door handles, side mirrors, curved windshield glass! [Dec. 10]

The more they mess with this truck, the less I like it. The current issues I'm having with Tesla are making the decision to stick with Ford that much easier. I have a Tri-Motor reserved and fully intend to upgrade that to the Quad motor but I'm very likely to just sell it as soon as I take delivery.
  2. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I'm sorry but this line of thinking makes no sense. What does the forrest fires have to do with global warming if you're saying they need to clean out dead debris to help prevent them. In that sense, how does it relate to the CT? Back on topic now, driving my new F150 home made me really want...
  3. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

Buy it out of the lease and trade it when the CT comes in. The purchase option on it has to be under what it's worth right now.
  4. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I've driven those trucks for 25 years now, I'm definitely not making a mistake, just can't handle not having a truck anymore.
  5. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

That's exactly where my mind is at. I''ll have my M3 as my daily driver to work and back and the truck for my days off activities. Both of those are going away when the CT comes in.
  6. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

Yeah, me too. It's the only problem I have with the M3, I hate being that close to the ground and not being able to see what's going on around me. I also feel helpless having to call friends to use their trucks because I can't get my car off road or when I need to pick up supplies at Home Depot...
  7. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I did it, I bought this today with the news of the delay on the CT, I have to have a truck and I was pushing it driving the M3 for almost a year as it is. I'm keeping the M3 and will trade both in when the CT finally comes in.
  8. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

As much as I enjoy driving my Model 3, I hate driving cars (even one that drives itself) I've never had a car, I've been in trucks since high school. I only got the Model 3 because I ordered the Cybertruck and wanted to make sure I could put up with driving an electric vehicle. Over the next...
  9. Cybertruck Fits Tall People?

I'm certain I read that the size reduction would not be in the bed, that was staying the same size.
  10. Cybertruck Fits Tall People?

Have them stand in the back and try to hold on, that should impress them just fine.
  11. Cybertruck Fits Tall People?

Sounds like you'll be doing them a favor and their comfort shouldn't matter in that case. If they complain, remind them that they could be walking?
  12. Cybertruck Fits Tall People?

Well, don't sit in the back seat of your own truck.
  13. Best reason to buy a Cybertruck

You're calculating the entire cost of the vehicle and you should be calculating the difference between the CT and say an F-150 since that seems to be the target of the CT. The CT is a more expensive truck loaded up but if you're going to buy a truck anyways, how much more it costs and how fast...
  14. Cybertruck Effect: Helping Tesla Maintain Sales Momentum Even As Tax Credit Expires

I'm the most instant gratification person I know and the idea of waiting 2 years for the CT was the hardest concept for me to try to get through my head. It's the reason I'm considering leasing a vehicle I dont really want just to scratch that itch, I'm just trying to justify it by saying it's...
  15. Cybertruck Effect: Helping Tesla Maintain Sales Momentum Even As Tax Credit Expires

I am one of those that have never considered an EV, I've driven a Ford F150 since high school (20+ years). If it wasnt for the broken glass and "Ugly Design" that sparked a conversation at work about the CT, I would have never ordered one. I'm now at a point of considering a short term lease...
  16. 10x Bigger New Tesla Battery Plant Approved

This cant do anything but help their position by tying themselves into the grid like they are. Hopefully, they'll also take some kind of control over the power lines themselves to make sure that they are safe from causing fires. That is the biggest liability I see for them linking up with PG&E.
