I think some women will be intimidated just by the sheer size of the truck, but actually driving it is super easy and comfy! Steer by wire and 4WS are my 2 favorite features. My wife loves driving our truck!
I love my Cybertruck, but I am just not a truck guy. My Model Y Perf had all the room that I needed. Yes, a 6' bed is nice, but I have to take that with me everywhere I go even though I hardly use it. The CT also barely fits in my garage making daily parking a white knuckle event (truck has...
Such a missed opportunity that Tesla did not include a rear-window pass-thru to the bed. That way cabin ventilation could reach the vault, plus if pups were back there you could still interact with them and/or give them treats/water. Without this feature our pups ride up front.
I started using FSD with v11 on my previous Model Y Performance. That seems like eons ago, and the improvements have really significantly changed the experience. I'm now using FSD v13.2.5 on my Cybertruck and I would say that I'm using it on at least 80% of my drives, but for drives > 20 miles...
OK, my tape is only 2" wide, so I'll try doubling the width and see what happens. Even if it can park 90% of the way and I have to manually finish the last move into the garage that would be a plus.
I tried this a month or so ago whenever we first got Autopark - I used white duct tape on a concrete floor. Problem is that the first time I tried it, the truck saw the parking spot marked out in my garage, but it had a hard time parking I assume because I have a very very small 1/2" tolerance...
LOL! I haven't had issues with going back and forth between cars on the steer by wire. What's been tripping me up is that when I hop out of the CT to my wife's car, I keep trying to hit buttons on the steering wheel for my turn signals!
Wife arranged a mini-vacation at an Airbnb in the mountains north of LA. Of course, it's super-hot today - mid 90's - but the CT kept us (me, wife, my mom, her mom, and four dogs!) cool in the cabin the whole way!! CT temperature control is great, better than in my old Model Y! CT is...
I love all of the mods/wraps people have done with their CTs. More power to them!! Cybertruck is like a blank canvas that you get to use to do whatever you want...it's awesome!! I'm still debating on what to do with mine...still stainless for now.
With $2500 to spend all at once, it's not likely that everything that you want will be in stock at the same time...unless you do a high-dollar item like the tent or Cyberquad for kids. What I did was get as much as I could that was in stock and then made up the difference with 3 Tesla wall...
To the OP - 100% agree that adapting to the truck is a non-event...happens quickly and naturally. The only thing I'm still trying to shake is looking over my left shoulder for a lane change; you have to change that muscle memory to look right so you can see the screen. I'm getting there...
I went thru the Tesla shop today and had to set up several "Notify me when this item is back in stock" notifications. I'm sure all the people who got their code yesterday bought out all the stuff worth buying. I may just have to spend it all on chargers and tshirts and set up a little store on...
