i had the front and rear motors replaced around 12k miles for this issue. Fix lasted for 10k miles or so and is now back…so I’m resigned to it being a thing that I deal with.
Well I drove with it for about a month or more and no issues. It didn’t seem to get any worse for me. I’m more concerned that something will go wrong now that they did such extensive surgery on my car haha
Both drive units replaced…vibration is gone. I would have thought it was coming from the front motor but in the notes they say rear motor louder than spec also
I’ve had this issue. It’s hard to point out to service because it usually happens for me first time AC is booting up in a while and then eventually goes away
Absurd, quit being a troll
Interestingly, after sitting in the sun for the last week while I was on vacation the dent is gone. Which makes me wonder if it is temperature related. Or possibly related to using the frunk, I’ve cut back on frunk usage recently since getting the bed divider…
It may sound normal to you, but I don’t think it is. This is my 4th Tesla over the last 9 years so I’m no stranger to imperfections and I have ignored them many times. This one developed after frunk usage. Just discussing it with fellow forum members not blabbing it out to the press or something.
Yes, I have this also. Was able to stop it by jamming my fingers under the rear console (where the plastic of the console meets the floor) while a friend was driving. Crammed some foam under it and that helps but it does come back as others mentioned.
