I've used it to run my house a few times and it does show the power being used from the 14-50 outlet.
I have a solar setup with 32 kWh batteries, 16 kw of inverters with grid and generator inputs.
I just connect the truck to the generator input when needed.
The 11 kw available from the truck...
We have more and more here in east-central Florida, which I love to see.
Who knows what the future holds, but I intend to have a Cybertruck the rest of my days.
I tell people that it's my dream vehicle that I didn't know I was dreaming about.
I think when they've been around a while and the...
I have to switch modes depending on where I'm driving.
In town mostly standard & chill.
If it slows down for any reason, it doesn't seem to speed up again.
I end up using the accelerator to get it going again.
Highway hurry.
I ordered one and have it installed. I used the Black Friday code, but I didn't know I could the Rick code too. $412.50. It took about 10 days to get here.
Rick, Thanks for your YouTube video, it helped a lot, I wish I'd have thought to use your code.
I've only driven a few times with it so...
I hope that works out somehow.
We've done the Church history trip from east to west.
We want to get back to Kirtland now with the changes.
We have a CT in Draper and could offer a ride next time we're out there. Dec 11th ish.
Just got a screw in my front passenger side tire, so I was looking at that tire pretty closely.
CB with only 7k.
6/32 in the middle, maybe a little less toward the sides.
I think I'll be doing good to get to 15k, maybe more like 10 to 12k.
I drive aggressively on occasion, a few launched here...
I think he's sincere but chronically over optimistic.
I also develop products and I have the same problem.
I'd rather be that way than the behemoths that never miss a dead line because the hardly commit to anything.
Have a look at this:
I kind of followed what he did, basically just added some Home Depot weather stripping between the back of the top window and the Tonneau spacer/cover (not sure the correct name).
This pretty much solved the problem for me, a little water can still get in at the sides...
This has been a fun thread to browse.
For me, yes, definitely.
Bottom line for me, it may not be the best pickup, the best sports car, the best family vehicle, etc.
BUT, it's pretty dang good at all of those.
It seems to me you'd have to buy two or three vehicles to cover its fun and utility...
The voltage looks good on the screen shot (242 volts).
If the voltage dips for any reason, I think it will stop, but I would think it would show an appropriate error.
Does anything around the charger or connector feel excessively warm?
That's all I can think of.
Good luck!
I'm sure you know this already, but make sure you're getting all 48 or 32 amps when you're charging.
You can adjust that in the vehicle or from the App.
Sometimes Tesla limits this if it sees a voltage drop or senses high temperature at the connectors, charger etc.
If you have a Tesla wall charger you can charge at up to 48 amps (x 240 volts=11,520 watts).
If you're using a Mobile charger in an NEMA-1450 (RV) plug you can charge at up to 32 amps (x 240 volts=7,680 watts)
Our Model 3 had about 75 kilowatt hour batteries.
From 20% to 80% would take 60% of...
This isn't so much a Tesla thing, I think it driven by NHTSA.
They hate Tesla.
They do everything they can to force Tesla recalls, even if it's just a software update they make Tesla send out recall letters.
NHTSA aspires to be "Big Brother" and uses their power to try to hurt Tesla and make...
AWD is 11,000 lb capacity, 1,100 lb tongue weight.
I just towed a trailer with a tractor to Bradenton and back twice, about 400 miles each trip.
Trailer and tractor weight was about 5,500 lbs or so.
I use the following ball mount...
Agreed. It is a little disconcerting to drill holes in our beautiful CT.
I have to remind myself that's it's a truck.
As a kid I used to install car stereos, I got pretty used to cutting things up for speakers, antenna's etc.
The breezer windows looks interesting....
Mostly just for long trips, sleeping overnight.
I'm sure to tweak a little, but it's pretty good.
Proved out pretty well on our hurricane cleanup trips.
