  1. FSD "Saved My Ass" stories - share yours!

I went and removed the 128 gigabyte stick, asked Grok how to review it, followed instructions but found out it erased over it due to sentry mode recording every minute it so Grok said. Learned to honk the horn or push the sentry button to keep the footage. Honestly, I didn’t even think about it...
  2. FSD "Saved My Ass" stories - share yours!

I didn’t drive the truck today so it may still be on the memory stick. To tell the truth I have never tried to view anything on it before (probably because no bad things or close calls have occurred).
  3. FSD "Saved My Ass" stories - share yours!

While driving home in FSD yesterday evening in the dark ( ironically after deer hunting) I was traveling on a rural road which took me past a sports park, illuminated and well lit. The lights, however, did not reach the parallel road I was on and all of a sudden the CT braked hard and quickly...
  4. Tire Rotation - tire shops that do it properly?

There are several ā€œDiscount Tireā€ dealerships in my locale. One of them would not rotate them at all— stated because of liability. Then I drove to another a couple of miles away. It was ā€œcan doā€ and only $25; several rotations in its hard to not have them do it as they do outstanding work. I...
  5. Ceramic Coatings

I have been most pleased with the results of Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Coating. But I applied it over the PPF wrap and don’t know about just over stainless steel. The two things that I was surprised about: after months of having been applied it has held up remarkedly well, and the small...
  6. Public REACTIONS to Your Cybertruck (and Your Reaction)? [Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

This was a fun reaction I experienced this afternoon. My neighbor down the street saw me and said his 6 year old grandson who was visiting wanted to see my cybertruck. So I told him to bring him over; his 5 year old brother and 4 year old sibling twins came too. They all got to jump into the bed...
  7. Remove crossbars for tonneau service ?

When I inquired about the leak in the bed one service writer told me that it was normal and ā€œwasn't guaranteed to be waterproofā€ and that they did not have a fix for it. A friend told me that he had his leak fixed at a different service center, so I knew to question this response but waited...
  8. I let strangers drive my Cybertruck

Shortly after acquisition I have always welcomed anyone to see it, sit in it, and if I know them personally I encourage them to drive it ( I’m also along). One cannot believe how much they change to a more positive attitude about a Cybertruck upon seeing the magic it provides in the driving...
  9. Cybertruck left window down all night and an inch of rain got in

I had so many front seat passengers who routinely pulled up the manual exit switch (in spite of my admonishments )which Tesla said might potentially damage the window. At a friendā€˜s suggestion I I took a piece of almost indistinguishable black tape and covered the manual release. So far no one...
  10. What do you think of my new wrap?

It’s very different and attention grabbing — much more unique than what most of us do with solid wrap or PPF colors. Congratulations for having some imagination.
  11. Cybertruck Tint Day

That looks great! Had mine done months ago because of the inside heat build up. Worried about the reports of the roof glass or windshield developing cracks due to the heat as a result of putting on the tint. The other question I had is that many of us have put a very dark tint on the windows...
  12. Haunted? After tinting windows the drivers door opens on its own!

Several of us have reported the doors not remaining closed after having window tint applied. It is definitely from the water intrusion inside the door. As soon as mine dried, the doors remained shut and I have not had any problems since.
  13. Magic in the Mountains : Motorcycle Trip with the Cybertruck

That is the best prose ever written on this forum and gives the reader a close sense of what you experienced. Kudos to you for your flowing description of what these trucks can do….placed in the right hands. You must have the soul and way of a poet.
  14. Windshield tint looks slightly blurred

Mine are horizontal wavy for the most part but I only really would have called it blurry, especially on the white lines of the roadway. They are definitely more noticeable at the lower one-third of the windshield which gives credence to the ā€œstretching theoryā€. There were only two installers by...
  15. Windshield tint looks slightly blurred

I had all of my windows tinted within the first two weeks after taking delivery. They have different degrees of tint but on the front windshield I kept noticing that it seem like there were blurry lines in the tint. I asked the applicator about it. He didn’t see it as easily as I did. I was...
  16. Ages of Cybertruck Owners Club members

I tried to research this question before posting but found nothing. Later I saw there was a similar post, but nothing posted in recent time as to current owners.
  17. Ages of Cybertruck Owners Club members

If itā€˜s said society is driven by youth but coupled with the fact that not many teenage drivers own a cybertruck, what are some of the age ranges of older owners on the other end of the spectrum? In Florida last year a tradesman who was wrapping vehicles remarked that he had one customer who...
  18. Public REACTIONS to Your Cybertruck (and Your Reaction)? [Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

The first day I picked up my CT I stopped at a hotel to charge after 10:30 pm and no sooner than I moved to the parking area these young ladies swarmed to the vehicle to make over it. I was tired and not ready to party and turned down the requests to attend a car show, twerk, go out into the...
  19. GRAPHENE WASH! No longer concerned about keeping Stainless looking good.

I had glossy black PPF applied by Autobahn. It is remarkable — then I decided to apply the Adam’s Graphene Ceramic ( advanced formula). This resulted in a very incredible finish that most anything can’t adhere to. But I baby the CT and don’t drive it in rain or mud. Eventually I will get over...
  20. ? For anyone who wrapped gloss black … wavy panels?

The PPF installer informed me before we started this process that he felt the gloss black choice did not show the inundations in the stainless steel panel like the matte or satin finish jobs. I suspect it is because gloss black reflects so much around it that it becomes almost invisible to the...
