anyone know the size of the screw that holds the rear viiew mirror ? i lost mine for my hanshow mirror and i cant get them to reply so i can get a replacement.
If u don't plug the doors in the screen does not power on.my laptop died so I lost footage I tried to salvage what I had. I ended up not making a bracket. Just to much work without yoke steering wheel it's just to hard to see unless you mount it like I did. It does need autodim. I agree
here a rough review of the @Tesstudio C9 Screen i tested it with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. and if u watch to the end u see how i prefer to mount it
I did a to the point video of the Hansshow Rear Camera install/Review I did it the way i prefer it with better insturction on how to mount it on top of the Tonneau Cover i even compare it to the new holiday update Rear View screen mirror tesla does
i am editing my video now with this Camera and comparing it to the onscreen one. for us older people i am 51 its just muscle memory wanting to look up at where the rear view camera should be i
I was one of the first people to install a camera rear view mirror on my channel . It works perfectly and only cost around $140 I did not install the front camera since it’s not needed to me . You best option is just pick a 4 channel camera on Amazon and dyi it
A lot of what you are asking must don’t want . I doubt you ever find something that has everything. The chances of Tesla letting any 3rd party tapping into the stock camera is slim.
@REDNAVE dont listen to the haters. i have not done as many review because i got burned out on the negative comments. not like we make any money off the Videos. like you just a hobby. I have the c9 screen also just not took the time to install be so cold here in NC. I enjoy your Videos...
I just did a quick Video of my thoughs on it.. I like it just wish someone make and underscreen storage that will work with it. I highly recommend installing a screen protector on your screen before you install this
Here the link to buy it and my quick video
Purchase...
THis video is little rough i tried to use my tripod on the hood of my truck.. but i show how to remove any covers you might had to install these REAL Carbon Fibers ones
