I got my CT in Jun 24. When I log into Tesla shop, I see my credits expire 12/25. Is that right? I thought it's supposed to be good for only 1 year? Just want to make sure it's not a glitch and I lose them.
Doesn't feel thin at all. Prob the same gauge as most safes. Can't imagine that there would be many thieves that would work at it to get into it.
IMO any security in a car can only hope to prevent smash and grabs. I think this does that no prob.
This happen to anyone else? Anybody know how to turn it back on? The videos are there if you look for them, but it doesn't tell me the events occurred when I get in the car
The amazing thing is how bad knowledge management is at the Tesla SCs. Numerous well documented problems and fixes, and the techs there seem dumbfounded with every issue you bring up.
This is what my tires look like after 10k miles, only noticed now when I was about to rotate them. What has everyone's experience been? Will Tesla service adjust the alignment under warranty?
That's a cool idea. If I went that route, I'd put some LiPo batts in the under bed storage and mount the charge controller/inverter to the side wall. Your method would save a ton of space (I normally don't use the under bed compartment because my bed often is carrying something and digging it...
A lot of people think water intrusion into the bed is from the tonneau cover but it's actually usually from the weather strip with the tonneau applique being improperly seated. The applique is meant to be removable (ie to install the Cybertent) and the weather strip is not bonded to both...
Yeah for my Chevy truck I also have a lifepod type safebox that uses a cable. Def better than nothing but they could cut that cable in 2s with a wire/bolt cutter.
Yep, very reliable. It requires a turn of the knob but can be done quickly. I programmed it for both my RH and LH index finger. I think it supports 9 profiles or something like that.
