Update, had Tesla Certified Electrician that installed system come out today and he inspected the entire system to make sure all wiring done correctly, and ran all sorts of tests on system. Everything checked out fine. AND THEN... cut the home service breaker to simulate power outage, heard a...
Awesome feedback, thanks. Yes, I as well heard a very loud hum as soon as the Powershare Gateway switched over to have the truck power the house, and what sounded like gears engaging slowly for lack of better terms, followed by faint smoke.
Yes in my app for the truck it said to reduce loads, but really nothing crazy in my subpanel it runs to, no Air Conditioners, just a couple fridge/freezers, lights, and other relatively low voltage/current stuff. I quickly flipped the 60AMP breaker in the Powershare panel because the truck...
Did you ever find out the problem? Mine is doing the same thing, everything works great until cybertruck tries to charge the house when main power supply is cut off.
Yes, new weatherstrip all the way to the end, and around the sides of the aerocover, then used RTV silicone on remaining small gaps. I posted specific Amazon parts on here on another thread earlier today,
From Amzn-
Weatherstrip, this is the same one another guy used and did a video about, he cut the center of it out, I didn’t do that. I installed it as is-

Meh, it’s wayyyy to small of a weatherstrip to help, did nothing. Had to fix it myself, only $15 and an hour of my time, no more leaks. Easy fix, just need a T30 screwdriver to remove the two bolts holding the cover in place, weatherstrip, and some black RTV.
Yep, they fixed mine, but it had NO effect on water intrusion. I had to fix that myself. Now 90% better through a touch free pressure wash, near 100% resolution for rain and hose water.
Problematic. While I think the sound it awesome and better fits the truck, when someone hears a horn that sounds like another car it means go, when they hear a horn that sounds like a rescue vehicle they think stop…
No need. Really thought I needed this initially because every other car I’ve driven has a rearview mirror up high, but it’s really just a mental health thing of familiarity, the camera view on the screen works great, can move it around, and works regardless of tonneau cover position.
And in...
