Got the beast, no regrets. The thing rides like a Mercedes s550 and runs like a hellcat.
Plus, less beasts may or may not mean it holds its value better. Who knows, but at least there is a chance.
Cypress delivery tomorrow.
Live in Houston.
Go into the service center As soon as you get your VIN and they can schedule the delivery appointment earlier.
Just got my VIN!
I was in the app changing the financing option to other source and the app glitched and would not let me submit the changes.
Restarted the app and there was the VIN.

Just want to know when it's best to check the Tesla app.

here is another link that seems to read easier, hoping an expert will see this and be able to confirm or deny it applies
A friend pointed me to this website https://www.energy.gov/eere/solar/federal-tax-credits-solar-manufacturers
At first glance, it looks like Tesla (domestic manufacturer) would qualify under the Electrode active materials and Critical minerals sections.
The Tesla chat rep had no idea, so I...
Ordered it 4 years ago because it reminded me of the Halo Warthog and DeLorean.
Upgraded to the Cyberbeast (and ordered Tesla Solar and Powerwall) because Elon is one of the few billionaires doing good things with his wealth.
Still waiting and driving the Tundra Capstone (nice truck but zero storage). Will let you know when the CT gets here.
My expectation is that it will be amazing with some early adopter frustrations.
Also, I have the same problem.
A $40,000 Mercedes will offend, a $90,000 F-250 will go unnoticed.
I just drive a pickup for work since it is the way of the world in my industry.
As a former Ford Lightning owner (while I was waiting for my CT order), I would highly recommend not getting one.
It was a bad experience from beginning to end, here are the highlights...
1. Range promised of 240 miles. Best actual range 176 miles.
2. Issues with charging port, adaptive air...
I use my HUD all the time in my 2024 Tundra, so I agree it would be a great feature on the CT and was a bit surprised it was not already a thing.
That being said, there are bigger fish to fry right now, so it would be best to get things ironed out and then add features.
I understand your frustration, but as others have laid out... us cybertruck owners are on the first wave of the assault.
There are always more casualties in the first wave, but when we make it through, we have the best stories!
For me, I ordered a loaded cyberbeast because I want to support Elon.
He is a nerd like me, he includes memes into his cars and rockets, and he is the only billionaire I see doing anything to really try to help this country.
So I am buying a vehicle I don't really need to support his continued...
