I definitley prefer to drive no matter the time or distance. After I retire next year I’ll probably cross to other continents by sailboat. @REM are you prior military using MAC flights? I might use those occasionally too.
That’s a pretty sweet contest. Unfornately, I’m stuck on the island of Oahu so had 0.000000001% chance of winning. Does anybody know if Tesla will keep doing the contest?
I’m upset about it because I live in my truck with the Cybercamper and I exclusively use supercharging. It’s costs me about $300 a month. That’s $3600 a year I could have been saving if I had the free supercharging. so I absolutely would have waited. However, I have no regrets about getting my...
When I was a kid my parents promised me that Santa Claus was real. Should I disown my parents when I found out that wasn’t true? Tesla doesn’t owe you anything bud. You got exactly what you paid for. You got your money back for something that doesn’t exist. Enjoy the truck for what it is, keep...
I don’t see any reason to touch your phone while driving. Navigation is all done on the screen. There’s a plethora of music/podcast/audio entertainment built in. And you can text to speech which even works with my flip phone. The problem is that people are too anxious needing to see the next...
Well its very doable. I just use an iPad Pro for the web and only take it out a couple times a day for a few min. Completely agree with you man on the society piece. Society has gone so far downhill with all the social media.
I was actually thinking of making a post about the switch in case anybody else is interested. But, here’s what I did. I already had an Apple Watch Ultra paired to my iPhone. I got a flip phone and moved my phone number to that. Then added a new phone number to the iPhone, which I keep off in my...
That’s what I’m saying. I’ve been back on my flip phone for a while now. I look everywhere including on the road and people are just glued to their pocket computers.
I’ve had my truck for almost a year and a half now and I wouldn’t ever want a different steering wheel. I think it took maybe a day or two for it to be natural. I think it’s way easier than a stalk and having to toggle a switch would be even worse. Give it time and you’ll get used to it.
I actually don’t do any social media. I’m still making a few tweaks here and there. Once I get my good panel I’ll do a full walk around video and post on here.
Cyberlandr is actually the main reason I got the CT in the first place. I second everything cybertruckcovers said. The CL is also going to have a 30kwh battery with 2kw of solar. It will have heated floors, state of the art security system, porcelain countertop with built in induction stove...
I feel for the people who opted for the zoom call. Zoom kept making Lance do all these updates and then it ultimately crashed. He is working on getting it all straightened out to do a zoom call for the folks that missed out.
