Yep, I know me. If I don’t do it right away, I will keep putting it off. It also worked out that I’ll be traveling for the next five days, so it should be done when I return.

Yep, basically exactly 4 weeks. It arrived at the SC on Monday. They let me schedule delivery while it was in transit from Texas.

And today was finally delivery day!!! Woot! Sorry not sorry, but driving a CT off the lot is the most amazing feeling! ... But of course, I only drove it 15 miles to then drop it off to get wrapped. The real enjoyment starts Tuesday when I get it back all dolled up! LOL

Seems there’s no real rhyme or reason on delivery time after VIN. For some people it was just days. I just got my delivery date schedule invite today (pick it up Wednesday, yay!). My VIN was assigned 4 weeks ago. Seems the average wait is about 2 weeks.

I have 20,2XX assigned (FS AWD white interior), but it’s still been sitting in Texas for about 3 weeks now. It’s interesting they aren’t going out (or possibly even being made?!?!) in sequential order.

At least one of them is! LOL

Oh, that's good to know. I would assume they are able to track everything. When I got my first Model 3, they were able to set a delivery date in Irvine while it was still in San Francisco going through processing. I'm kind of surprised that they can't/don't so the same here. Even if it's a week...

Oh hell! That sucks. I saw that there was the option of using as a store credit is not for the power hardware. That's good to know to get everything at once. ... Interesting that they couldn't even just let you return the item(s) and have a do-over, and/or re-instate the remaining credit for you.

I didn't even notice the last year go by, but now that I got my order email on 7/26/24, and VIN assigned on 7/30/24, the waiting is killing me! I messaged my Irvine, CA, delivery center, and as of Friday, my FS CT was still in Texas. ?? That does seem like a long time to still be there, but...
