Installed OpenRoad 270 Degree awning, Getting ready for some camping!

yes! Just mount the awning more out or offset the truck. Then everything is flush and you don’t need any spacers.

    Mars versus Urander rack

I honestly don't know because at the same time I changed out the OEM Pirelli's for the Michelin LTX Defender Platinums which reduced some range too. I went from ~.400 kWh/mi to ~.470 for my overall average (city + hwy combined)

    Mars versus Urander rack

Here's my setup in case you're interested. The Victory 4x4 fairing is a must-have for completely eliminating wind noise for the Mars AG Full Expedition Rack. It installs seamlessly and does a great job. I went with the Inspired Overland Carbonlite Rooftop Tent for a thicker mattress. However, I...

    So long for now CT'ers......

Ziggi, you'll be missed! I too live in central Texas (Boerne, Texas area) and my fatheris 77. He regularly works on 3 tracks of land he owns (30, 100, and 500 acres), and he's fully sold on the AWD CT - going to grab a used one within 30 days. The biggest selling point for him? FSD. He's...

Doing truck stuff in Texas before the deep freeze!

Here's a photo of my Cybertruck thawing out in San Antonio after the great ice storm of 2026... It was under a carport, so the freezing rain only hit the front side 😊

    Towing range extender trailer

What would be optimal would be a trailer that had a battery pack with motors on its wheels and regenerative charging, much like the Pebble, but man, the price point won't be pretty. It's like we're in the 1980's with PCs. A generation from now, this will all be solved.

Another Michelin Defender LTX Platinum Thread

I had the Pirelli's, so I can't speak for the OEM ATT.

FSD 14.2 backed my Cybertruck into the driveway for the first time

I'd absolutely love some way to program the truck how to handle in particular locations. For example, at our school, I'd love to navigate it through the pick-up line so it doesn't head for the parking lot. At home, I'd love to train it to back up our driveway under the carport where I manually...

Another Michelin Defender LTX Platinum Thread

I'm in San Antonio. Other than the freak snowmageddon we had a couple years back, the most we ever get is maybe some frost on the grass in the winter. ❄️ So, year round! But, the tread is very deep. They double as All Terrain and All Season.

Another Michelin Defender LTX Platinum Thread

I too had the Michelin Defender LTX Platinums installed. Going on 6k miles now and couldn't be happier: minimal range loss, smooth, quiet, and DEEP tread that will last!

FSD "Saved My Ass" stories - share yours!

Last night, I was driving 3 kids home with FSD activated. The truck abruptly slowed to 20 mph for apparently no reason, which was frustrating. Just as I was about to intervene, a huge Axis buck ran right in front of us. If I didn’t have FSD on, there’s no doubt in my mind I would have hit it...
