I am hearing the same thing. It runs and runs and runs and then a loud thud noise and it stops. Service said its normal but it didn't do it to start.

I have mine in the shop right now. It will run the compressor every time I get in and run for 30 minutes or so then a big poof sound happens and it turns off. Not sure if it is the same. They told me to keep it at low for testing to see if it still does it. We will see if they find anything odd...

It allows you to choose different options in case you don't want to do certain windows. It does allow you to choose all the windows except the windshield.

I was thinking about this....the heat that comes through the roof is intense when the sun is out. Also, Tesla sent out a email about their authorized tint company that they will cover under warranty. If it didn't need to be tinted why would Tesla endorse it?
