Is like to try to install the @Wolfbox g900pro on my awd. Let me know if i should DM? Two question, does this mirror turn off when the truck is off to reduce vampire drain? And where are all the reviews from people in May?
Mine failed yesterday, service gave supercharger and my wife said they don't have to fix it, 🤣🤣🤣
But no powershare or ac outlet so really want it fixed. Schedule for July...
I went for service for another reason and they added the cant rail replacement. I asked if it was necessary as i was concerned more that they wouldn't install it correctly and would have worse alignment. I asked if theyd make sure to align it, they said no guarantee as it doesnt have...
OP mention (2) 1 coat kits would cover a CT, what about just the (1) 2 coat kit? Is there any difference between the 1, 2, 3 coat kit versions?
Any reviews or independent videos on applications and performance? I want to try to minimize fingerprints but more over to make the surface slick so...
OP, what has Tesla said? I get you want to ask the public but probably makes sense to scheduled a SC visit. They may be able to remotely determine and assess issue. And then let us all know the fix they did.
Also may want to check a friend that has a J1772 charger (greater than 24a) to rule...
You can do all the tricks and hacks on forums but best to schedule SC appt and have them realign cover. It's happened to me a couple times, SC fixed and its been good. It's unfortunate but the system is not bulletproof. Good luck!
I asked my SC to add the missing slat and they said what I have is within spec and normal. SC tech walked to 2 other CT on the lot and showed me that they all had the missing slat. Meaning they didn't want to do it. So not sure how to convince them otherwise, sad to say....
Same thing happen to me. Tesla engineer told me to run dehumidifier inside overnight, pulled a lot of water the next morning and doors started working properly again. Apparently controllers aren't waterproof, sad.
I have a similar issue where it inconsistent closing. I've taken it to SC and they say they fixed it then a few days go by and doesn't close consistently. Now I just hold one of the front corners just when it's about to close, I push and hold it. Always closes but that's not a good solution...
Question for those that have it, if you lay a box or tools or groceries on the edge and push it into the truck, is the rug rigid enough not snag/crinkle up behind and stay flat? Or maybe smooth enough to have stuff slide back? Thx!
Looks great! Might I also recommend instead of routing wiring all the way back from the center/rear usbc, get a OBD to usb adapter so you can tuck/keep the wiring under the front dash (no cable extensions needed).
I was thinking of DIY something similar from off the shelf parts. I'm curious how the rack is mounted to the bed. Would you take pix without bikes?
And curious, how much was it, over/under $1k? Otherwise, looks amazing!
Until Telsa provides an official extension or updated CCS adapter,
You'll need this and the Tesla CCS adapter
EVject Breakaway Charging Adapter for Tesla Owners – EVANNEX Aftermarket Tesla Accessories
In either case, I'm waiting for the breakaway extension to come down to something reasonable...
Interesting, I used the supercharger a month ago and got charged typical charger fee rate. But I believe tesla alrrady know I'm getting the powershare. I've seen others decline powershare and they get 6mo or 1yr depending if you got the cyberbeast. But hoping your riding the glitch...
Looks really cool! Thule makes something similar but only single bikes. Btw, how is this rack mounted to the truck? Bolted or somehow mounted to the D track?
It's unfortunate the breakaway "extender" is more expensive than the ccs adapter itself. Hopefully someone (tesla or 3rd party) will make a simple short extender that's reasonably priced for those that already have the ccs adapter.
