It has felt super sensitive to me for awhile now. It was awful during winter when I'm just following the cars in front of me. I've turned it all off and haven't looked back.
V13 is pretty darn good for me. Does seem to be back to hugging the left side of the lane. I appreciate the smoother braking action. I haven't had any left turns yet that have been causing issues. It definitely feels more natural than previous versions.
You likely have the auto speed offset on. Need to change it in the Autopilot settings. I don't like it because it will definitely blow way over the speed limit in town.
I had that experience as well. It wanted to mostly do 10+ over on city streets and do 5 under on highway. Although, I had a couple of experiences where it wanted to do 10+ over on the highway. Due to that I turned it off for now.
I think it's definitely going to add a layer of safety and I'm all for it. I just don't see it changing much for how I operate until I eventually get complacent from it driving me around. So that will become the real challenge.
That's how I've always driven. Scanning up and expecting someone to dart in the way. It's definitely a unique experience sitting behind a vehicle maneuvering itself. Something new to get used to now. I'm excited to see it in action in more scenarios that just a quick test run I did tonight.
I feel you. Got my VIN on Monday and told come pick it up 4.5hrs away because the center an hour away is "at capacity." Trying to make tomorrow work before going on a week long vacation. Good luck!
