Tesla offering $99,000 trade-in on my 2024 FS AWD Cybertruck

I punched the buttons for a trade-in on my 14 month old 2024 FS with 35,000 miles. The answer was $66K. So, no new cyberbeast for me! I’ll just have to keep on driving the 2024 FS which is still as nice as the day I got it!

Cybertruck owners uses it to perform gas station leak checks, saving him $30K in fuel costs per year

Not impossible for a full size truck going about 60000 miles. I put a little over 30000 miles on my CT in a year.

VA to AR and back towing big trailer

On the unhitch to charge issue, I get it! On my round trip to Arkansas with a big trailer, I was fortunate enough to be able to charge without unhitching at almost half of my Supercharger stops. In addition there were many times where a 15 ft "Supercharger extension cord" would have been a...

VA to AR and back towing big trailer

I was hauling my gas engine-powered self-launching Pipistrel Taurus motor glider. The trailer belongs to my buddy, who has the same glider with electric power. The trailer is 30 ft long, 5 ft 3 in wide, and 6 ft 6 in tall. Estimated weight is almost 4000 lb fully loaded.

VA to AR and back towing big trailer

Friends were apprehensive when we left Virginia, headed for Arkansas pulling this big trailer. Comments ranged from mild concerns to suggestions that we would run out of charge and be stranded along the interstate. In reality, it was mostly very easy, though with an occasional aggravation when...

Gouge in stainless steel panel at delivery - would you accept?

My CT came with a small problem with the front seat. Tesla was very good about making it right. If they say they will fix it, they will! I'm happy as could be with my CT and already have 35,000 miles on it!

First I’ve seen the hate from kids, and senior citizens in one day! 😔

I was in Boston a couple of months ago. Pre-printed notices were attached twice to my CT exhorting me to sell it in order to fight fascism. However, I have had lots of very positive interactions with the public. Often I get to show my CT to people's kids and tell them how great it is!

HFS (Hard Freaking Stainless) – How’s Your Cybertruck Holding Up?

After one year and 30,000 miles, the stainless steel exterior panels of my CT look as good as the day I got it. The interior is robust and holding up very well too. The exterior appearance disappointment is the dark gray resin bumpers and front spoilers that now sport dings and breaks.

Blinded by the Light, Saved by FSD!

A large deer is still alive and well in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. Last night, while driving about 60 on FSD on a two lane highway, my CT suddenly braked and the deer I had not seen bounded across the road right in front of me. I'm confident that without FSD I would have had a dead...

    Any problems with vandalism?

I have put a Mercedes badge on my Cybertruck. A few ignorant folks might think it is a Mercedes. Most people get a good laugh when they see this method to discourage vandalism!

Windshield wiper/fluid not covering or cleaning evenly

I also had streaking problems with RainX. The cheap blue methanol solution works fine!

My day finally came. Best vehicle ever.

I got my CT in June and still feel as good about it as I did on delivery day. I recently did a round trip from Virginia to Arkansas pulling a huge 30ft trailer. The CT is a fabulous tow vehicle too. Charging was never a problem, though most places I had to disconnect the trailer to get close...
