I look at that too, span and another app controlled smart breakers system which I forgot name now. How much is it to install the SPAN? It sounds like you have the same old panel as mine, and an upgrade of panel is too expensive to justify.
Someone I spoke to said that it will automatically switch to PW3 during outage so I'm you won't lose power in the house. Then you can choose to switch power source to cybertruck as priority, to save the power in the battery. Hope that is what we will get.
alright, I kinda remembered now. My subpanel is very old and already full, so they said the backup switch option won't work for me...unless I upgrade my subpanel...🙃
They talked about it in one of the conversations but I really couldn't recall now. The gateway 3 is part of the PW3 lease I have at the end... I guess I got ripped off by Tesla one more time then 😂
No, not the exactly same gateway.
I misused the term. It is Gateway 3V or what Tesla calls GW3V that specially works for "vehicle" powershare back to house, at the moment only cybertruck but they hinted Model Y will have that feature too "in the future".
The new gateway they installed is...
It may be my confusion, but here is what I experienced.
I have my cybertruck foundation series back in 2024, and installed the gateway V3 and universal charger that come with the purchase (in credit) and spent additional $4500 for installation. My house was hit often by outage for Public...
Thanks for all you suggestions. Made it.
Charged to 100% at Spearfish, chill, under 65, and even get a chance to use the destination charger at Bowman Lodge and Convention Center - had dinner at the restaurant.
Arrived in Dickinson with more than 100 miles left. Looks like I can still make 300...
I didn't get the last paragraph, but still thank you for the tips. I have a CCS and J-1772 adapter with me, and have sold my mobile charger thought I would never use it ?
Did you find this app accurate? Is it a plan or your own record?
With 120kWh capacity this really pushes to limit, especially with AC on during the summer.
I am planing to go to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park from Rapid City, SD.
Google Map says it is 225 miles and there is no supercharger or any charging post at all in between.
During the summer condition, my sense is that my cybertruck can run about 250-270 from 100% to 10%, but that is...
Yes, the driving (or seating experiences) is excellent. I have been using FSD almost all the time, barely touch either accelerator or brake...just talk with Max, listening to music and podcasts, and enjoy the view!!
Thank you all!
With the help of his electric scooter, Max had a great time in Zion National Park today!
On our way to Rocky Mountain National Park the next two days.
One thing I found out about my Cynbertruck:
Las night I checked the miles and total electricity charge (mostly on supercharge...
Hi all, this will be a slightly unconvetional topic than most in this forum, but it is going to be carried out in my Cybertruck, so hopefully it is still appropriate. Please let me know if it is not, and if you want, please feel free to share the story to your friends and community, share with...
Thanks Paul, wish I had saw your post earlier. I already signed up with another company. Also I found out I did send out quote request to Smart Charge America back in early October but withdrew soon after as I decided back then to go for a simple reciprocal.
Just to confirm, they charged you...
