  1. CT Owners: Referrals are moving fast. Several of you already hit 10/10 since our post earlier this month

Yes they can ban you. Here is a snippet from the Terms and Conditions. "To be clear, paid advertising, selling or paying or offering incentives for use of referral links is not appropriate, and we will not honor referral links associated with behavior that violates these Terms and Conditions...
  2. Windshield tint (upper part)

I did 5% tint down to the bottom of the camera housing too, and love it. It's not too low, in fact it is about an inch higher than the AS1 line where the tint can legally go to.
  3. CT Owners: Referrals are moving fast. Several of you already hit 10/10 since our post earlier this month

This problem with this is that Tesla sends you a 1099-MISC that includes all the money you received in referral credits which you must report as income on your taxes. This will result in an increase in your federal and state income taxes. In some cases, this can be nearly 50% if self-employed...
  4. Sun Glare is Terrible Through the Front windshield

I did a limo tint eye brow (5%) down to bottom of camera housing. Works perfectly and was only $50 installed.
  5. [UPDATE: NO LONGER APPLIES] Cybertrucks ordered by 3/31/26 qualify for FSD transfer (confirmed)

Thanks for the update. I won't blindly believe Grok anymore. I asked ChatGPT and it said RoboTaxi vehicles count (even without a paying owner) Vehicles operating in the RoboTaxi network are considered active FSD users, even if: No individual is paying a monthly subscription Revenue comes from...
  6. [UPDATE: NO LONGER APPLIES] Cybertrucks ordered by 3/31/26 qualify for FSD transfer (confirmed)

No it doesn't. According to Grok No, the Cybercab itself does not count as an FSD subscription toward Elon Musk's Tesla compensation (pay) plan milestone. The FSD subscription milestone specifically tracks active monthly subscribers (paying users on personal vehicles), not Robotaxi fleet...
  7. Home solar and powershare

I believe if you put a Soft Start kit on your heat pump it should be fine. If you have a variable speed heat pump, I understand they have a lower draw than a single speed one. In that case, you may be fine. If you happen to need a Soft Start kit, I have a used one I can sell at a very reasonable...
  8. Home solar and powershare

Yeap, I won 3 Powerwalls in the referral program and my SRP power bill dropped to less than half of what it was. Solar is not even worth it considering the price I am paying for off-peak power.
  9. Instead of PowerShare, I installed an interlock and 50amp receptacle...

I have an extra soft start kit if you need it and am selling it for $79. Let me know if you are interested.
  10. windshield hit

I would guess a large jagged rock that hit the first spot and then spun around and hit the second spot. So same rock hitting twice.
  11. Will I Get a $1000 Loyalty Discount if I buy a Cybertruck just after purchasing a Model Y a week ago?

It's one or the other, not both. If you are already an owner, you'll get the loyalty discount and no referral credit will be given (you can only use a referral if you have never owned a Tesla before).
  12. $3,500.00 has an expiry date.

Tesla App > Hamburger Menu > Your picture/name > Wallet > you'll see the expiration date under Tesla Credits.
  13. Soon to be Owner, Quick Questions around FSD and the Tax Credit

That is not a true statement. If you buy it for $8,000 it stays with the car for the life of the car. If you lease FSD for $99 per month, that is just the current rate and it is likely to increase dramatically over the years as FSD advances or becomes unsupervised.
  14. Help understanding solar/powerwall 3/powershare

I have an extra SureStart (soft start kit) that I will sell for half price if anyone needs one. When I changed my AC unit to a variable speed heat pump, I no longer needed it. It is Part # SS1B16-32SN which I believe is the largest one for any AC unit.
  15. Upper windshield interior heat screens?

You are welcome. I did it more for the sun coming in between the sunshades and the sheer amount of light coming in through the huge window. But it does really reduce the heat also. I have a full sunshade that I can put in when I park, but a rarely use it because it is pain to put in. I'll only...
  16. Upper windshield interior heat screens?

Here is from the outside. Kinda hard to see, but I think it looks great. Used 5% Xpel Prime Plus.
  17. Upper windshield interior heat screens?

I had my tint guy put limo tint there. Works perfect to reduce glare and heat.
  18. Windshield visor sunblock?

I had my tint guy put limo tint from the very top of the window down to the bottom of the camera housing. Looks great and reduces the glare all the way down. Now hardly use the visors unless sun is extremely low.
