Pirelli Scorpion XTM AT tires review vs. BFG KO3 (on Cybertruck)

I'm not seeing them on Tire Rack yet, but Pirelli's web site says they make 285/65R20 (stock CT size).

Pirelli Scorpion XTM AT tires review vs. BFG KO3 (on Cybertruck)

Fantastic, thank you! I'm not a big fan of the OEM Goodyears--they just don't have a lot of tread compared to a proper A/T tire, and they're not snow rated. For comparison, I’ve run BFG A/T KO2’s on my Toyota for nearly 20 years and they’re great on rocky trails and snow. When my OEM tires are...

FSD "Saved My Ass" stories - share yours!

Unfortunately I don't have the dashcam clip of this (I forgot to save it) but, the first time I was trying out 14.1.7, I was on a two-lane road with a cyclist in the bike lane to my right. He checked over his shoulder as if to come into my lane, but the upcoming left turn was far enough ahead...

SpaceX Starbase's Cybertruck fleet now over 250 trucks!

Those need to be wrapped to look like Star Trek shuttle craft and given names that appeared in the shows. Actually maybe that’s what I need to do to my own Cybertruck. 😁

Looking for opinions on how to handle aggressive driving scenario from today

My issue was him speeding up to prevent me from merging. There’s no shoulder past the merge lane, so I had to floor it myself and out-accelerate him. The side views show this best. In any case you may be absolutely right that this isn’t anything to pursue. Thanks for the reply.

    šŸš€ Giveaway: Win a 10.88" Cybertruck Dashboard Head-up Display (HUD) + 20% OFF Code

This looks very cool. I watched the install video but do you have a video of it in use? I’d like to see more of the user interface while driving.

Terrestrial Armor installed (Underbody Shield & Rock Sliders / Structural Rockers)

Oh wow, I need that! Question for @kush777 : how much does it reduce the truck's height, and does that show up on the truck's display? The bottom of my Toyota is all scraped to heck from off-roading and I've definitely put its rock sliders and bash guards to the use they were designed for. I...

Recall: exterior trim / body panel detaching issue (46,096 Cybertrucks affected)

FINALLY. Based on the number of badly aligned cant rails I've seen, the manufacturing of this part has been bad since the beginning. My passenger side one looks terrible and my local Tesla service center said they wouldn't fix it. I'm hoping they built a better manufacturing fixture along the way.

Travels with L.E.O. (My Beast)! People think these trucks are good for nothing, we know they’re wrong.

I really like the shot where you're driving through the snow! It looks like that was taken with an Insta 360; is that right? Casey LaDelle on YouTube also does very cool shots while holding the Insta 360 on a stick out his window. I definitely need to get one of those.

    L-Track Nut (3D print w/ STL file)

In case you're interested, I started with designing mounts for MOLLE panels, and I'm pondering some L-track attachments now. I've finished mounts for a Hi-Lift jack and for MaxTrax boards, both intended for a horizontal MOLLE shelf that goes over the spare tire. My next task was making a L-track...

    L-Track Nut (3D print w/ STL file)

Funny, I was just looking for something like this. I’m also making a bunch of custom mounts for my truck, however I was planning to start from commonly-available L-track lugs (about $4/ea on Amazon) and going from there. My concern with 3D printing this part is that it puts tension on the Z axis.

Kinetic recovery - front or rear attachment ?

I very much hope you're right. I compared against photos on the ARB web site and the products look substantially different, both in materials and construction. I need to eat crow on one thing, however: you're correct that when ARB says "T" they mean metric ton, not 2000 pounds as I expected. I...

    Dangerous headlights in winter weather

I can only speak to my own experience here in Colorado, but I've driven two hours straight in heavy snow, at night, never cleaned the headlights, and I didn't have a problem. There was snow accumulation on the shelf below the light, but not a bunch and not enough to affect headlight performance...
