  1. Starlink: The Ultimate Mount Solution!

Thank you -- just to clarify, on the PeakDo, I see it has Bypass function and the USB-C charging is bi-directional. Just to make sure I understand your point on longer trips -- the DC charger that came with the mini feeds the PeakDo, which in turn connects to the DC port on the Starlink? I...
  2. Starlink: The Ultimate Mount Solution!

Amazing setup! I may have missed this in the thread, but do you have a list of what you used in your kit? I'd like to replicate it!
  3. CyberBeast VIN#29 – Complete Power Loss, Tow Experience, and Lessons Learned

Just so I am clear, did you try the steps covered in the manual for jump starting the truck from a 12V source? https://service.tesla.com/docs/Public/diy/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-BC28BE8A-5596-498C-8D4A-A6BB75096A81.html And for opening the frunk with no power...
  4. Which tire inflator

Thanks all. On the inflators, the reviews all seem positive but trying to determine the best. Between the Fantik, TC-BL and the ALL-TOP, any strong reasons for one vs the other. The TC-BL had good reviews on amazon but a few folks said they had maintenance issues with it.
  5. Which tire inflator

Along these lines, is there a good 4 tire inflator/deflator kit you'd pair with these? Saw this one on Amazon: https://a.co/d/0bnk35vZ Would this or something similar to it work well?
  6. Multiple alerts- truck in limp mode-Resolved (for now)

On the early Model S Plaid that I owned way back when, this happened due to one of the modules on the bus initializing late. Once that happens it needs a deep power cycle (or reset) before it will retry -- usually because there's a root cause lurking. On the Plaid S, the early units had a...
  7. Absolute beginner - Moab off-road with family

I have been thinking of the same thing....I wonder if there's any interest in a Cybertruck "New to offroading" beginner's meetup/day?
  8. Think I have a PCS issue.

FWIW -- When mine failed the symptom that I first noticed was 48A charging dropping down to 24A. The error message more or less tells you the problem, one of the two onboard Cycloconverters as failed.
  9. Think I have a PCS issue.

This is almost certainly a failing PCS. If it was me, I'd supercharge only until you can get in for service. Schedule it now as it's a part that has availability challenges from time to time.
  10. Truck dead, then resurrected: errors VCRIGHT_a220 low voltage and HVBATT_a046

Sounds like a transient voltage issue where not everything woke up after deep sleep. I agree, a new PCS may be in your future. Definitely reach out to service so they can start remote diagnosis. Have you looked at the charge curves when you charge at home? Are they consistent or bursty...
  11. Anyone else holding off on the Cantrail recall?

That's exactly what I have. I was told it depends what parts they get and some have it and some don't. I have had zero luck getting them to correct it.
  12. Charging reduced to 24 A.

They are likely the same issue. The PCS2 unit provides AC to DC conversion both ways. Just had my PCS2 unit replaced.
  13. Charging reduced to 24 A.

Yep, that's classic PCS2 failure. If you go into service mode, the alerts should tell the story. I'd log that as a ticket ASAP so the parts can be ordered. It's a long job 5+ hours assuming all goes well.
  14. Anyone else holding off on the Cantrail recall?

At least yours don't have the giant blister on the front. It's really disappointing. They did adjust mine a second time and improved them (some.)
  15. Weird FSD steering of CT on interstate

I have seen this yes too -- it's more pronounced on 14.2 On 14.2.1 it seems to do when it wants to merge into a lane on the freeway, but I have had it do this when it misjudges a left hand turn and ends up in the middle of the lane. The oscillations require immediate driver intervention, in...
  16. Universal Wall Connector Dropping Amps on Cybertruck — Need Insight

If the display drops down to show a lower max charge rate after it starts to try and charge it's on you more than likely have a PCS unit going bad. A quick trip to service mode for alerts would confirm this. My foundation cyberbeast just had this issue. It's a good 5-7 hour repair.
  17. Charging on Level2 limited to 24A after recent update

Just to add to chorus -- after the last update the same thing happened to me. My truck stopped charging at 48 amps on my gen 3 connector at home. There were three alerts visible in service mode, one involving the PCS. Opened a ticket and they confirmed it. Bad news is the part is now under...
  18. Coolant fluid top-off?

Might be worth talking to service. Here's what Grok said. Nice call-out to this group at the bottom by Grok... Based on reports from Cybertruck owners and Tesla service discussions, an apparently empty coolant reservoir (visible in the frunk after removing the access panel) without any...
  19. Cybertruck displaying some unusual errors after update. Tried soft and hard reset and nothing. Anyone else experience these errors after update

This is usually caused when one of the components has not initialized or woken up. The Plaid Model S had a service campaign at one point on this. You need the vehicle to completely power down. When it wakes up from the deep sleep state and it will restart everything.
  20. Anyone else holding off on the Cantrail recall?

Add me to the list that should have waited. Tesla Palo Alto service center lived up to its reputation. The cantrails have a visible divet and discoloration on each side at the front, they are slightly twisted upward on both sides, and don't fit flush at the back (larger gap on one side vs the...
