The others that have said they’ve done it seem to think the dogs do well back there. I’m considering getting the removable window as well for her. Regardless, if she hates it, I’d never force her in there. We’d have her up front with us before I’d make her suffer.
Amazing answer, thanks for walking me through all that. My dog is very well trained and I think she’d do amazing if we introduced it to her in small trips as you stated. Glad it’s worked out for you and that your dog has done well!
clearly I’m not, many others have commented that with the right kennel it would be a good idea. Imagine explaining your reasoning instead of making a sassy comment that adds no value lol.
Hey guys, wondering if anyone has ever tried this with their dog, haven’t taken delivery of my CT yet.
I’m wondering if it’s a good or bad idea to have your dog in the back with the tanneu cover slightly closed. My dog is about 50 lbs.
I’m imagining having a gate close off half of the bed, and...
Sadly it sounds like you got scammed. I've had MANY damage claims over the years, and the guests personal insurance paid. every. single. time.
I never had to pay a deductible for any damages that were 100% guest caused.
Thank you for all this info, really good.
That last part is scary to me. Getting locked out of FSD is what I'd be concerned about the most.
My "vetting" process wouldn't include canceling trips, it would be simply not approving trips that I don't feel good about. I wouldn't allow instant...
Dude backed into a tree branch and broke the back windshield.
He said it was just "randomly smashed by someone", I didn't figure out what happened until after the trip.
I swapped him out to another car, which came back caked in dirt (in the interior) and smelled like weed everywhere. Found his...
Absolutely. I was lucky enough to have a very high percentage of trips that were smooth sailing, but when the car came back with weed smell, it a lot of the time also came back with damage. I'd be vetting who I rent the truck out to VERY heavily.
Sadly yes, I have indeed seen total losses. Blowing up a car in vegas isnt the only way to total a Turo rental! I'll definitely be looking at getting great insurance.
Yes absolutely it would be worth it, but our dryer is in the back of the house (rental currently, hopefully buying one soon) so it may be an inconvenience. I've looked into getting an extension cord and splitter for that outlet though!
Great to know. So essentially, if its plugged into a standard outlet for 15 hours, I'd get 45 miles? So If I average 45 miles a day on daily driving, I could get by for a good while without dipping into supercharging.
Before anyone tells me all about Turo: I ran a Turo account with 35 cars for 3 years, I know what I am getting myself into!
Here are my few questions for you wonderful people though:
-Is there a way to disable FSD when guests are driving? I know about Valet mode, but I've seen that it also...
