All depends on the state. In GA you can use force (not deadly force) to defend property. So taser, pepper spray, and a well meaning baseball bat to the ribs are all legal.

Fayetteville is nice and new. Just took delivery there yesterday. Delivery happens inside their shop. I agree with the other poster though. I wouldn't drive any farther than I had to for delivery. It won't make a difference.
