Rubbing Steering wheel on steering column plastic?

Had the same issue. Easy fix. It was the 2 pieces of plastic that move in and out when you adjust the steering wheel. The tech put a piece of plastic to act as a bushing. No sounds now. I would think all the service guys would know about this as it seems quite a common problem.

    Bent Tonneau Rod - Normal?

My whole assembly fell apart. The rods were not bent they just came unattached and fell down between the bed and the cabin. Tesla fixed it but it took 4 days in the shop. They added a slat as well. No problems since then.

When on cruise control even with avoidance system set at 2 car lengths, it applies a heavy brake. Does that when a car turns in front of me even a quarter of a mile ahead...

I had the same rattle. It is the steering wheel sleeve. They fabricated a rubber gasket and the rattle is gone. My serial # is 24k. Had the truck since August. The roll-up mechanism for the tonneau fell apart. Going into the shop tomorrow for a fix. This is the 5th shop time for the truck for...

    This rattle is killing me..

Had the same issue. Rattle was a lack of bushing between the steering wheel shaft and the sleeve where it slides in and out for adjustment. The tech fabricated a plastic sleeve bushing and presto, no rattle. 2 hour fix. Done here in West Palm Beach. Good luck.
