This is what they replaced on mine. It actually wasn't the harness. They ordered the harness for engineering study. (Tesla orders engineering study when they find an issue which is not widespread and they want to identify what the root cause is so they can be ahead of it, if it does becomes...
I don't think it was the complaining that did it.
But when somebody tries to deliberately run you off the highway so could crash, and then you start seeing people burning Teslas within the city, vandalize few of them (60) in just an hour distance from home. On top of all this, if the family is...
Current political shittiness will subside. I'll be honest, I have been keeping Sentry mode on all the time now. So I am not a fan of what's going on. But at the same time, nothing gives anybody authority to burn or damage personal property. My coworker who got his truck with me (first week of...
Couple more things I would add which I forgot in my previous response. If you're actually looking for a "Truck Truck" meaning you want to use it for towing stuff, or as a proper work horse. I would say there are better options out there (that's not my use case) . I use it as a Glorified...
After owning this truck for past 6 months, I'll say i actually don't care if the value becomes $0 tomorrow. Tesla's secret sauce is its Software/FSD and Charging Infrastructure. Haven't seen a single manufacturer even come close to this.
And ever since they opened up their charging...
Glad you guys are finding on average positive response these days. Same was the case for me in Ontario, Canada. Was one of the first ones here (first week of launch). Kids and all sorts of people loved it. Thumbs up all around with like 2% thumbing down only with people who either are driven by...
So it happened again today and this time they have ordered a replacement for this harness.

Not sure how they found out because i didn't even had a chance to take the truck there. Unless...
So i have a Model 3 2022 as well. And have experience with a Model Y (in the family) what i would say is this is normal for Tesla or any other vehicle that is built on a brand new paradigm. Early Model S had many issues which were refined in later years and Model X got benefitted by that...
Yeah I'm gonna keep an eye. A friend (another CT owner) told me to still take it to service and get a loaner. But I now want to see the issue pop up again (with snow and all) So I can show them the correlation before i just take it back to them. I dont trust them to find the root cause after a...
Thanks for the quick response. So for me this started after they swapped the wiper assembly to an interim one. (interim because it's still not resolved yet) Anyway, then we got hit with like 30cm+ snow and then I had this issue cropped up 4 times in 2 days back to back.
Fast forward to today...
Have you guys found the root cause for this one? I have ran into this 4 times in past 2 days. I have my suspicions but before I go down that path I want to check if in US at least you guys were able to identify what might be causing this.
