Thanks for the tips! Saved me a trip to SC. Looked under the tailgate and the exact nut was not in all the way. Tightened it and now the tailgate is lighter and not making anymore popping noise.

must be these two bolts on the bottom right? I think the torsion rod is loose and is making that noise. Thanks i’ll take a look see if they are loose.

I had my tail gate replaced 2 months ago. It is now making a loud popping noise when i close it. I noticed the noise when i got it back after replacement but it was minimal noise. Also the tailgate seem very heavy than before. Submitted a video to SC and they ordered a new damper strut. Either...

@RPM TESLA ads showing 35-50% sitewide. Even showing the picture of the steering wheels. I added to the cart and it excluded from discount. Contacted customer service and they said some product are excluded. Well then ads should not say sitewide discount or showing products on the discount ads...

Just fixed it with the dremel. Pictures attached

Used a dremel bit grinded the metal striker and made the hole horizontal longer. Reinstalled 95% better. Couldve gone a little more but the bit snapped. Lol anyway im satisfied.

I had same issue sc replaced new one solid now. But after replacement the right side a sticking out a bit not flush lol

Is it easy to slot the holes? What did you use to do it?

Anyone have any luck adjusting the CT tailgate to make it flush? I had tail gate replaced by SC due to it maki noise. Replacement piece all solid but one side is not. Just got it PPF so dont want to take it to SC they might make it worst.

I took it off add 3m double side tape solid now doesnt move anymore easy fix.

Just picked mine up. Cantrails replaced perfect fitment even better than 10 days ago when i inspected it at the dealer

How did they get the other side to fit good ? Maybe the tech did a sloppy job. Going to pick mine up in 2 hrs hopefully it will be all good.
