I had this happen with an older version of FSD and the temporary solution for me was to quickly disengage and re engage FSD and that would work. Eventually it went away with updates. Recalibrating the cameras did not work for me in that instance but still worth trying
My theory is that cold air is able to accumulate between the windshield and the dash board, when you turn right that air is forced into the driver seat. I imagine the inverse is possible on left turns for your passenger.
Also, if you are close enough to the vehicle you can "pop" the door using the app, would save you from having to crawl across to open it from the inside.
Its a tough spot for sure, but your priorities are in the right place thinking about your family that is in the car with you. In this instance documenting it in the event it gets worse was the right call, and props to you for not escalating it further. It sounds like you may have been justified...
Alright, front inverter was replaced under warranty. Service center had it for 4 days and so far everything is back to normal. I would recommend to anyone about to go on a roadtrip to supercharge before you go (like a week before you go) just to see if this happens to you.
Just for some more...
Looks like a level 2 charger, not a supercharger. So max would be somewhere around 11.5 kw depending on the service. These cant charge nearly as fast due to limitations of the onboard charger, the supercharger bypasses the onboard charger if I remember correctly.
You'd be better to charge on...
Service center said it would most likely be a week while they work to replace the inverter. I pushed back a little asking why this may be happening to so many and the advisor did not want to expand further. Gave me a loaner model y at least. Now I just have to worry about my truck sitting out in...
Fingers crossed, I'm not touching it until tomorrow morning, made sure to unplug everything and turn sentry mode off (luckily in a safe area) I will update here tomorrow.
Welp, on a nice long roadtrip and just got this error on my 24, non-fs awd. It happened immediately after supercharging. Have tried the typical reboots, left it alone for 4 hours and it's still there. Weirdly, an update popped up as soon as the error did, downloaded and installed it and limp...
No the full video makes it more obvious but I'm actually in the 2nd to the left lane. And I pass her so I feel like fsd was in the appropriate lane at that time
I had a guy come in to a corner store I was in asking about "the big military vehicle parked outside" I explained it was mine and he said it was awesome and how he liked the big screen, then he asked what it was I said its a Tesla Cybertruck, and his face dropped "I HATE Tesla Cybertrucks"
Lol...
