Law firm sent flyer wanting to bring action against Tesla for premature tire wear

I had almost the opposite experience. My Cybertruck picked up a nail at about 3,600 km, and the tire couldn’t be saved. While replacing it, the tire shop pointed out that the original Pirellis were already down to roughly 70% tread, which surprised me. The technician told me he’s seeing a lot...

Who has done undercoating? Please advise.

Don’t bother. It isn’t needed. If you have salty winter roads, just spray the bottom off with a hose every now and then. That’s all you need. Lots of aluminum and stainless Steel in the structure make it the most corrosion resistant truck on the road right from the factory. I wrapped mine...

Failed Wrap. Need advice. 3M 2080 Satin Flip Volcanic Flare Vinyl Wrap

That’s a directional wrap. You can tell from the reflective changes based on the various photos. The installer reversed the direction for the outside panels. Needs to be redone. Could also be a 3M error but that is rare. Directional panel installation reversal is not uncommon. Usually...

Recent Youtube Video Cybertruck the Worst Vehicle Tesla has ever made.

I have had my CT for 18 months and use it for heavy construction hauling and other Reno stuff. It has been flawless with no issues in the least. Except when somebody threw a box of screws in front of me. The truck pulled over safely and probably saved my bacon. The bad guy was caught and...

Am I the only one who’s discovered how incredibly useful FSD is in Long drive-through lines? In-N-Out you’ve met your match!

One complaint to the restaurant chain about staff intentionally messing up food for a Tesla owner and the franchise owner gets notified with a warning. The staff the faces re-education or firing. It is also fair game for staff to be charged if the food is altered by the staff in any way - and...

[ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS] 2 Cybertrucks catch fire and burn down in parking lot (Santa Monica, Los Angeles - 3/5/26)

Federal arson carries a max of 20 years, but similar cases in the area typically shake out to around 10 years in the clink after all the courtroom drama. With Teslas everywhere packing cameras, plus the facility's own surveillance, nailing these clowns should be a cakewalk. Prosecutions for...

How do you keep all your exterior cameras clean in the winter slush?

I normally just put a good hydrophobic coat like rainex on the lenses. Nothing sticks. You pretty much have to apply a new coat once a week though, as it quickly wears off. But the trick works perfectly. I have a windshield PPF, so I can't use Rainex on the windshield, but instead I use a...

    How can I get Groc?

Just use it on your phone for now. It works just fine that way. Honestly, chat works even better.

    Cleaning the front windshield glass

I have only experienced very poor results with invisible glass. Instead, I use my wife’s magical solution. In a spray bottle, I simply put in 1 quart of water (distilled) along with five drops of dawn dish, liquid dishwashing detergent and about half a cup of white vinegar. Spray and scrub...

How would you have handled this?

Save the Dashcam video and call the cops with a well prepared statement. They will absolutely arrest him with sufficient evidence and a victim willing to testify. He will get a criminal record and be disincentivized to do this to somebody else. Others will also become disincentivized.

Has Tesla Given Up On Providing Actual Smart Summon On The CT?

If you look carefully after the latest update, there is a "greyed out" option in the CT that mentions auto-summon that can be activated by toggle. It looks like the interface has been added, but the functionality will probably be rolled out jurisdictionally - my guess is places like Phoenix...

MyQ is terrible, does no one have the guts to tell Elon

I always either use the app (“hey Siri” on my watch) or the CT app works flawlessly on my garage doors. Have to pay a MyQ membership fee but it works so well that I dont mind. If you don’t pay the membership fee MyQ won’t work.

Best Charger for Cybertruck for the Home

I would stick with the TESLA because they are generations ahead of the competition in general. Having said that, I charge my cyber truck using a Porsche charger. I use the Porsche charger on my wife’s Cayenne hybrid. It works extremely well and is able to modify and regulate the voltage feed...

New Cybertruck Owner (First Tesla & New to Group) (Please Read)

I got a bed liner for mine and a set of nice floor mats with a storage bin for behind the front screen. Then I wrapped mine in camo vinyl followed by a high end transparent and glossy PPF. Also got a windshield wrap and tinted the windows to 15%. Very happy with the AWD CT. I have several...

Would You BUY a CT again today?

Yes. It’s not a dd for me, but mostly a utility truck for trips to Costco, the dump, paddle boarding or mountain biking. I use a 911 turbo cab as a dd in the summer and a macan for the winter. But the CT is a great utility vehicle. Not great for spontaneous road trips because of few chargers...

Does Tidal sound better than Spotify with the higher res option In the CT?
