CB owners have reported the same speed and temperature dependent noise you have experienced. I know the two CB loaners I had did it too unfortunatelyā¦.

Got it! Yes it seemed to fix my mirror from shaking and the noise above 65 mph but now I have this low buzzing metal on metal sounding rattle that drives me crazy at all speeds.

They are nice high quality mats that do not smell and clean off very easily. However have no lip around the edge so the water runs right off onto the carpet.
