  1. CT at 14000 feet

Thanks for mentioning the name change. Interesting that about 3 weeks after I drove my Y up Mt Evans, they changed the name to Mount Blue Sky. In the 1950's while on Mount Blue Sky/Mt Evans I could run around. Three years ago even with my aviators breathing oxygen, my O2 saturation was only...
  2. New strange FSD behavior?

Mine does that rocking only in one location on a local road, consistently. Since on previous versions it did not "rock" on that section, it is not the road surface causing the rocking.
  3. CT at 14000 feet

Haven't taken my CT up there yet, but here is my Y on Mt Evans at 14,130'. No trees and no bushes up there.
  4. Music & songs that best showcase sound system

Bad Liar - by Selena Gomez Our trucks really bring out the realistic quality of her voice. For me it's not about making lots of noise, it's about accurate sound reproduction at near max volume.
  5. Rear Camera Heating Up (hot to the touch)

My rear camera also gets hot to the touch.
  6. How many times have you been cut/injured by your CT?

With a new grinding stone on a Dremel, I carefully took the sharp edges off and so far, no injuries!!
  7. Trailer towing, WOW!

Over the last 3 years I've charged in California more than 100 times and have always been able to re-set my limit over 80% (both in the vehicle and on my app). It has never been a hard limit.
  8. Custom DIY T-Slot Ladder Rack: Fit a 75-Inch Ladder in a 72-Inch Bed!

Very nice setup, thanks for sharing. This gives me ideas to use my 1 x 1 T-Slot aluminum framing that I have.
  9. Should I go through brush car washes?

My un-wrapped CT has been through a brush type car wash dozens of times with no problem. On occasion a felt ribbon gets ripped off the brush by a stainless corner.
  10. Grab handles for bed vault (to hoist yourself up / in) -- DIY instructions

I like your idea better than mine for a grab handle. Mine uses a double loop handle-bar tie-down strap and a small soft shackle. A rigid handle works better than a strap (that squeezes the fingers).
  11. Driving vs flying

With FSD, prefer driving over flying coast to coast. Have made 9 FSD trips between FL and CA.
  12. If asking CT or CB - CB is always the right answer.

Front wheel-drive truck....No thanks, I'll stick with my AWD. With 97% FSD, mine is rear wheel-drive around 97% of the time.
  13. Measurements for roof rack mount doors.

I ordered a left and right hand roof appliqué with rack doors. They arrived in a few days and snapped in my 2025 AWD (March 2025 delivery) easily. I don't understand why the roof appliqué without doors is so much more expensive.
  14. Sun Glare is Terrible Through the Front windshield

In addition to what RonM recommended, I also use this (which is wide enough for CT): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WRG765D?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1 Both of these have worked really great for my coast to coast drives on east-west freeways.
  15. Went from 2026.2.9.1 to 2026.2.9.2 yesterday. Am I the only one?

After 2026.2.9.1 loaded, no ANC. Then 24 hours later ANC was there!! Did the audio system need to self calibrate before ANC became active?
  16. Mad Max Mode FSD is great….but it goes to fast over the speed limit

Interesting how different our trucks perform on the same FSD software. Mine will not go over the speed limit in Mad Max on most of our local streets (Comfort or Sport makes no difference). All 5 modes go about 33 in a 35, and all 5 go about 47 in a 55. On freeways the modes operate as...
  17. Which tire inflator

I have this one and it works very well. Since it has a digital gauge, I isolate the batteries after every use to lengthen battery life. Hoses are long enough for the CT. I just need to get a better inflator. At the latest Cyber Odyssey I was the last one to finish inflating.
  18. Ghetto tie downs for roof rack attachment points

Great idea. Thanks for sharing. My 2025 AWD has 6 mm threaded studs so I use M6-1.0 coupling nuts. With my big fingers and the chance for the nuts to get lost if they slide aft, I found the coupling nuts work good for holding a bracket I made for a GoPro...
