I'm thinking the more recent software updates somehow make the GPS error when there's a USB splitter and a 2nd USB drive. I can't imagine why that would be, but...
I was having the same GPS problem, and removing the USB splitter and additional USB thumb drive appeared to do the trick. I was using a USB port splitter (dock) so I could plug in a thumb drive with various light shows. I rarely do light shows, so removing the dock and additional USB drive was...
SOLUTION!!!
I was talking to my local Tesla Service Center technician (and friend), and he gave me something to try that worked. It is a known issue that *some* of the NEMA 14-50 adapters for the mobile chargers that come as part of the FS package are defective, and can cause the symptoms I am...
Update on my latest troubleshooting and testing:
1. Performed reset of Cybertruck as suggested.
2. I was able to transfer charge at 120V 12A without interruption. This only got me about 4 miles of range in my Model 3 in an hour's worth of charging. Not a practical solution.
3. I was able to...
Yes, I dialed down the rate to 10A. Thanks for the suggestion. I will do another set of tests today. If nothing improves, I will see if I can find a Gen3 (the one that comes with CT) charger to try.
Sorry...let me clarify. I've been trying with the mobile charger that came with the CB. It is a Gen3 mobile charger (all black). I also tried with my other mobile chargers, which are Gen1 (silver and black). All exhibit the same behavior: 1-2 seconds of power before an audible trip.
I have not tried the mobile connecter using 110V. I'll give it a shot.
I may swing by my local Tesla SC to see if they would lend me a Gen3 mobile charger.
Thanks!
I'm looking for some help from someone who has been successful using their 220V outlet in the CT bed to power the mobile charger to charge another Tesla.
When I set this up, the mobile charger indicates it has power (1 green steady light), but when I plug in the charger to another Tesla (Model...
Friends, I'm checking out of the Cyberbeast Waiting Room. After 90 days and a bit of misdirection from my wife and the Tesla folks (they made the delivery a surprise by telling me that it would be two weeks from VIN to delivery), my Cyberbeast was delivered. Here are my stats:
Order...
Hmmm. Last six digits start with "020" Does that mean it's an earlier build? Is yours a Cyberbeast? I used the "VIN decoder" at it seems that the last six digits are some sort of serial number.
Dunno. I'm just over the moon that at least this part of the hang-wringing is over.
89 days for me today. I've resigned myself to thinking it will be close to the 140-150 range like other CB orders seem to have been. Late September? Congrats to new VIN and delivery recipients!

Yes, please. Some details, so the rest of us can do some extrapolation:
1. Reservation date?
2. RN?
3. Order date?
4. Trim?
5. Location (State)
Thanks.
(88 days and counting, for me.)
