So I called that one - Cybertruck at 800V+
The V3 250KVA Supercharger has a "1000V" label on the back - so I don't see why a Software Upgrade can't bring them to charge at up to 1000V. There is simply no point at the moment - as Tesla has no vehicles that charge at that speed.
I wonder if any of...
The other side to all car park slots having Solar Panels would be then my Cybertruck with its built-in PV panels will be deprived of its 15 miles of free charging per day. Just a thought!
Makro in South Africa, which is 51% owned by Walmart and also sells pretty much everything, has Solar Panel shade for the car park - so we can park in the shade. Gets hot here! They use the power in-store - so save on Eskom (the electricity utility provider that is currently "load shedding" up...
Bullet proof may seem like an odd requirement but I live in South Africa - and really does make sense. Someone did a Cash-in-Transit hijack some 300 meters from my house. Two bigish bangs and a bunch of firearms...

I'd love the North American Charging Standard (NACS) to become a world standard. With Voltage at somewhere between 900V and 1000V and peak current at over 900Amps - I think that will keep us happy for quite a few years. I've always assumed that the Cybertruck would be an800 Volt (or better)...
Well - the martian version should be air-tight.
Now - with a remote control joy stick to control direction and speed - stop before the water, climb into the back - and then "cruise" where you want to from the back.
As far as I can tell - my Cybertruck is due about 16 months after production starts. It was going to be a tri-motor vehicle (I need the batteries for towing) - so a quad-motor is looking ideal. Elon has already added rear wheel steering (one of my suggestions) and I presume will add 800V (or so)...
Hmm - I have a landrover Discovery-3 - HSE. The headlights do turn in the direction of travel and an additional (55 Watt?) bulb lights up appropriately when turning and going slow (one each side of the car). The Cybertruck should be able to do something similar.
Better turning - cool. Crab maneuver for parking - that would be useful.
For the tri-motor - if the front motor had an additional cog or two - couldn't the left and right wheels rotate in opposite directions (tank turn). A Tank Turn mode in conjunction with turning each wheel in opposite...
So, I live in South Africa (240Volt AC). I currently have a Victron Multiplus II (48/5000/70), 10KWH of LiFePO4 (want 40KWH) and some Solar Panels. When Eskom "load sheds" (due to lack of available power), my lights stay on (only the Electric Water heater [geyser] and stove no longer work).
I'd...
What I primarily like about the F150 lightning is the bi-directional power flow capability. I see this is why Transport Evolved (News) wants one - as they don't want to spend money on Storage Batteries for their home solar PV system. I'm afraid that Tesla may not allow for example a 17KW (?)...
What I'd like to see is a world wide standard - probably CCS2 - the Euro CCS standard. Now that I've sorted out the type of plug in use - I'd like it so anyone can go to any charger. Sure - the rates can differ - I see nothing wrong with that. Even today, Petrol/Gas stations next to each other...
That's going to confuse potential hijackers and thieves whilst you're standing at the Robot (Traffic light - to those not in South Africa) waiting for the lights to turn green! That and they can't break the side windows with an old spark plug.
