Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

I really do appreciate that - thank you! In the meantime, I'll check in with my SA every week or so to see if there's anything that can be shared on the new install process or parts. Until that presents itself, I'm inclined to complete the parts collection and install via the...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

See my post right above... it looks like getting the parts now is going to be difficult, if not impossible. I think CNC'ing your own is the best way to go at this point. I don't have a mill, so if you do go that route, would you make a set of pads for me? I'm happy to pay you for the effort...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

So as an update to my prior post about my OTC parts order missing the metal pads... it looks like I'm not going to be able to get them as Tesla has put them on restriction pending a whole new mounting process that's yet to be finalized (per chat with my SA - see below): I asked if they had a...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

Yes - I submitted a service request of type "Other" and put in the part numbers that I wanted to order and they took it from there.

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

It did not - even though the bracket description says "with pad" there was no pad in the bag, so I'm going to have to go back to the SC and see if something changed on the install procedure or if I'm missing parts. I'll post back when I have an update.

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

FYI that I was able to pick up my OTC parts order at my local SC yesterday, so I (finally) have the lightbar retrofit parts in hand. Here's what the whole lot looks like: 2 brackets, 2 Rivnuts, 2 bolts to secure the brackets to the body of the truck (via the Rivnuts) and 4 black screws to...

Best way to glue on a used OEM Beast bar

I posted the entire part number table earlier in the thread.

Best way to glue on a used OEM Beast bar

FYI that I placed my OTC parts order for the lightbar retrofit back in November, and despite it taking a while, my SC has informed me that my parts have arrived! I'm picking them up on Monday or Tuesday and will report back when I have them in hand.

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

All good points and I see the same thing on my side as well, so I'll confirm what you're saying. I checked both the parts site and the EPC site for the lighbar rework parts and they weren't listed on either and the lightbar itself wasn't able to be ordered on either, so that's what prompted me...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

FYI that Tesla parts just called me to let me know that the lightbar rework parts aren't available yet for OTC purchase. I had opened a service request on my CT to try to order the parts list and even though they're going to close the request, the order still stays on my account and they said...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

You do not - anyone can order parts from there... or at least that's how it's worked in the past.

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

On the light bar? Yes - it was $2500 on EPC just as it was/is in the app. However, neither it nor the "fix" parts are coming up by search in EPC today, so it's like Tesla pulled them for whatever reason. Maybe they come back? Maybe the lightbar was never really supposed to be sold via EPC...

Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

I was able to purchase the Lightbar (v3) via the EPC site back in September. I did a part number search, put it in my cart, paid for it and it showed up at my house via UPS in about 4 days. It's not listed in EPC any longer, however... neither are all the "fix" parts, so it looks like for...

Best way to glue on a used OEM Beast bar

Have you tried ordering the brackets + fastners yet? I'm not seeing them in EPC at this time (and I can no longer find the lightbar either by doing a part number search) so I opened a service request asking to buy the parts over the counter. I'll report back on my success (or lack thereof)...

Has anyone installed a BBK (Big Brake Kit) on their CT?

I think that's a sound approach. I do like the thought of bigger brakes wherever possible, but any upgrade here is a solid win.

Has anyone installed a BBK (Big Brake Kit) on their CT?

Thank you @henchman24, appreciate you taking the time to offer up those additional details regarding the ethernet loop. To both RB and TSportLine's credit, they did mention to me that installing their rear calipers may cause "warning messages and errors" with the vehicle, but neither of them...

Has anyone installed a BBK (Big Brake Kit) on their CT?

Curious if anyone has been doing research or possibly even installed a Big Brake Kit (BBK) on their CT? I've been looking at the following CT-specific kits: from Racing Brake - https://racingbrake.com/tes-ct-irp-410-400/ from TSportLine -...

Best way to glue on a used OEM Beast bar

Appreciate the clarification - thank you! It helps me to understand what I'm looking at...so many of the aftermarket light bars are so similar and nuanced in their differences that it's difficult to keep track of them. The XKmax looks fantastic.
