I have a beast, and every appointment to get it installed they have canceled. FS Beast, Still no ETA on when I can get it. In fact, I would say this is the case for many. My SC said they have only done a handful and usually had problems.

I am inquiring now about just having a tesla body shop do it, vs the service center. Seems again replacing the roof glass would be best done by a body shop vs general service. The roof glass has to get replaced again since they damaged ( cut off) the plastic attachment points for the interior.

I had not even considered them having to drive it, but I wish there was. For non tesla there is valet mode, but once in service mode i'm fairly sure they override everything else. It was not super warming to see the consumption graph for last 10 miles trust me. :(
