Breach of contract is not a crime. It is a civil matter. You could be forced to fork over $50,000 or whatever profit was made from the vehicle if you did not give tesla first crack at buying it back.
I would bet that they will do something about it. Car companies frequently in force these provisions in their contracts. We are not free to violate written contracts willy-nilly without repercussions
That is specifically what they told me to do with mine. So now I have all my paperwork in order in the moment they call me with the Vin, I will do the application
Yes, if only there was something we could turn on maybe a chime or some thing that would go "ding" at a specific speed like say when you reach the speed limit or something? Anybody have any ideas? :-)
There is one member here who is stating he was given a three-day window to pick up the truck. That's Vin to pick up in three days. My guess is it was someone else's truck that was refused or fell through but regardless I would make sure all your ducks are in a row as the date gets closer. Get...
The foundation series is absolutely not limited to 1000 units. I can tell you this as a fact because there are foundations serial numbers well over that.
Fun fact, they are only required to be covered if they are over the roof line. I suspect this is specifically why it is flush with the roofline and actually on the window :-)
I would suggest you don't go near an airplane lol you would be amazed at how often things fail.
I cannot follow you down the rabbit hole that the steer by wire is somehow not safe. It is redundant. With redundancies built on top of that with the sensors. Based on the description of the...
I would imagine under certain circumstances this is true, but the grade is probably very important. If it's a small grade then this is probably accurate if you're dealing with the grapevine, I would doubt it. As a general rule of thumb in my experience if you put on the energy app and simply...
This is why I would not go for the credit pull until you get the Vin.
Let me tell you, I am paying every credit card the day after the statement is printed and watching every due date until my vin gets in lol. Everybody is getting paid early thanks to the Tesla financing effect :-)
I don't mean to sound snarky but that is why the system is redundant. For example, your steering has two steering motors. Each one has three sensors. If one of those sensors loses its mind you will get a "critical failure" and told to pull over… But you still have your back up motor with three...
I would definitely recommend wrapping it but it would not hurt to throw some clear silicone bead around it and then use a credit card to smooth it out to get a nice seal. Honestly I would do that even if it was wrapped. Should stop the seem from showing
