No hotspot required, just runs off the vehicles data. The app has its own search bar to search videos and you can send YouTube links to your “my videos” section it’s pretty cool

It’s a web app, so you sign up on your phone and log in thru the Tesla browser.

The display on the current one is not readable unless you get into an awkward position to read it so a lot of the times I don’t know for sure it’s on or not and my leg is constantly hitting the side buttons adjusting temps. This one also looks to be bigger and the heat functionality is a plus

I have the other design, I’m telling myself I don’t need to buy another fridge. Then I ordered another fridge 😢 🤷‍♂️

I hear you, that would be pretty awesome , you can just do your own animations just using the color leds this is just showing the light show staying intact. If I ever get a Tesla engineer in front of me I definitely have a whole list of other ideas for them too lol.

none whatsoever, their customer service is super responsive. the app is pretty cool too I have like 20+ different shows I’ve created and it’s easy to create and customize your own.

I do not think they are affiliated with The Boring Company or The Boring Light. The branding just has a similar vibe from what I can tell. They are based out of Illinois. Install was super easy. I would call it a 2 out of 10 on difficulty. It was around 14 bolts total, mostly 10 millimeter...
