I received my invite yesterday. I'm in Maine and didn't expect to hear from Tesla for a while. I'm going to wait for the non-FS version. But it's nice to know it's not just the southern states getting trucks.
Some interesting features of the Cybertruck brakes.
Brake Disc Wiping
When cold and wet weather is detected, brake disc wiping repeatedly applies an imperceptible amount of brake force to remove water from the surface of the brake discs.
Hydraulic Boost Compensation

Yep! I've also had normal sound warnings for my new refrigerator, heat pump air handlers, etc. I had never seen one for a car, though. You should listen to some of them.
Just for grins, I went to the service manual and looked up fender replacement procedure in case there were specifications for panel gaps. Nope!

Yeah, I get it. The whole bed is plastic and is not easily refurbished and you paid for an unused truck. But as others have said, mine would look like that after one trip to the farm supply shop.
The first thing I did was put a bed step on my F-150 XL. I'm tall, but at 67 years of age, I don't need to overwork my knees.

I have never seen an owner's manual with samples of normal sounds that your vehicle can make. It was actually informative. As a retired aircraft mechanic, I love all the maintenance manuals.
It would be simpler and preferable for me for Tesla to add a roofline rear camera—no plumbing needed. It would be above the tire spray for better visibility. It would also allow you to see with the tailgate down when you are carrying a large load or backing up with the tailgate down.

If there is enough room, I will always back my F-150 in. If it's too tight, head to the pickup truck area out on the farther reaches of the lot. You'll be in good company.
At a recent car show, Goodyear displayed a tire with an additional sensor for pressure and temperature. It resembles an internal tire repair patch or balance weight. By measuring the tire temperature, the car can detect road temp to help identify the surface, wetness, snow, etc. The Pirelli...
I typical use my standard side mirrors on my F-150 for backing up and use the rear view and camera for pedestrian detection. It keeps me in practice. However, having truck or tow mirrors would be a big improvement, especially for towing. I'm hoping the CT side mirrors are decent enough. Oh...
Can you please recommend a product that actually removes fingerprints from stainless steel? I watched Out of Spec Detail, where he exhausted various products to no avail, except Windex. I will share your answer with him.
Tesla sells a vehicle-powered air compressor as part of its tire repair kit. It uses a standard 12v plug, so I wonder if they will include an adaptor for the CT. If you buy a small 120v compressor, make sure you bring an extension cord to reach the wheel.
I'm confused. I still see fingerprints in the after photos. Did you try Windex to clean the fingerprints off first? And the color seems darker after treatment.
I have used Plaid with my Monarch Money Budget app/website ever since Mint closed down. It's a good product. You can read about it here.
