wow these air suspensions have lots of little problems. how do you feel about it going out of warranty after 4 years?
do you think it's worth it over the new adaptive coil suspension on the 59k AWD?
anyone try this yet? it's a 1 piece inflatable rear seat mattress with leveling pads for the seat angle. it also has an extension that fits if you move passenger seat forward so you can sleep at a slight angle for taller people.
i don't care if it covers the rear display. dimensions are 63x31.
the current pricing of those were not selling. makes sense to lower since obviously price was the key factor as evidenced by the 60k offer. however i doubt it will make much difference for those higher specs. personally i think he should leave 60k base, make premium 70k, and beast 80k.
here's Munro engineer video breakdown of the air suspension. his conclusion is it is too complex especially long term but it does offer unmatched comfort. translation don't keep your cybertruck air suspension past 4 year warranty.
i think it would be helpful to list some changes improvements the later build cybertrucks have over 2024.
from my research:
panel gaps better
steering wheel rattles gone
front motor issues fixed
those are advertised prices but trust me no one is buying that. look on bringatrailer you'll see foundation series and beasts bid to 75k and that's all for 2025.
this new 60k model will drop used prices for sure. as for why they keep asking so much? stubbornness i guess
this is the biggest item for me as well but after watching 2 video reviews of the RWD truck with same adaptive suspension i think i can live without the air suspension. of course i would prefer to have it but for 20k difference i can live without it.
another minor issue but after 4 year...
