This is an open forum, encourage away. I capture it when people provide. From what we've seen, VIN assigned date is 1-2 weeks prior to delivery.

It should be a requirement the SCs update the firmware before delivery. I've also found updates for a new Tesla on my account would often delay by weeks from my older Tesla. They get closer over time but it could take months, in my experience.

Yes, that may work on a Cybertruck but I'd recommend sticking with a UL 2252 certified adapter. Buy once, cry once and all of that. You know the old saying: You can pick up a cheap prostitute in Thailand, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.
