After digging in some old post by T-Sportline here, distance front to back between lift points is 70.5 inches. 8000TLX max spread is 66 inches so won't work. The 6000ELX does not meet the weight requirement so Quickjacks seem to be no go.
Either bigger lift or back to floor jacks.
Saw yesterday a video by Obsessed Garage about Quickjacks and was wondering if any member tried them. After multiple searches and Grok prompts, nada.
From what I see, the 8000TLX is the most likely candidate for CT, since it can lift 8000 lbs. Did anyone try them...
M18 inflator from Milwaukee will do Semi truck tires so should be good for CT and costs 179$ at Home Depot. It's what I use on my vehicles and work like a charm. It's small too.
I would be interested to know where you got that information. I'm looking into it but cannot find any new launch of 16 colored PPF wraps from XPEL.
Did you get anything back from them?
Note: I will also call my local XPEL dealer and try to get more information. Will also be at Tesla this...
I might be buying a foundation CT from inventory here. I was going to install a PPF anyway so the free wrap is interesting. I called my Tesla Service center (Quebec city, Canada) to inquire about it. He said the XPEL wrap voucher is for a vinyl wrap (slimmer) and not a PPF.
Has anyone taken...
This wiper issue is the only thing holding me back. Otherwise I'd buy with the current price and incentives. Really hoping Tesla finds a solution for this. Our local Facebook group in Quebec is full of people with the same issue.
My question on the reservation though is how much time will Tesla allow us to keep our reservations with FSD price locked in if we don't order.
I know some people say in the past vehicle launches Tesla allowed clients to keep them for months but we have no idea what they'll do this time...
It appears they still do honor the 2019 FSD price lock. I just went through my reservation's "start designing" option and it shows the price at reduced 9200$ CAD.
I'm guessing not many Canadian FS orders got converted with the canadian dollar so weak. Also, FS production is ending so it's going to be a pretty rare version up north just because they're not gonna be making them anymore.
I'm waiting for the non-fs truck to get here. Won't be too long now...
The exemption Tesla now applies to their configurator is in line with the government regulations. See all details here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/canadas-luxury-tax-not-applicable-to-cybertruck.11847/
If I'm not mistaken, those load ratings are for 1 tire. That would then be 3748lb x 4=14992 lbs maximum load carrying capacity for those tires. That should be more than enough for every CT variation sold now.

Tsportline guys say the size will work: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/18-wheels-for-cybertruck-explained.12110/page-2#post-242544
Nokians are some of the best snow tires there is. I know it is what...
Last update I saw was Rohan Patel on X before he left saying they were working through the paperwork with canadian authorities but no timeline was given.
We should not hope for any meaningful volume in Canada in 2024. Look how much time people are waiting in the US. Some people have ordered 3...
My thoughts exactly. Some people are stuck on the CTs looks and cannot get over it. They need to put the CT in that lifestyle category as an easy "out" in their mind. As some others have said, there are a lot of lifestyle trucks on the road if you get down to how people use them (eg. not 100%...
Ditto.
I'm in Canada so I'm incredibly curious how much they are going to charge us for foundation series. I'm expecting it to cost about 140k CDN$ for a Dual motor. I'm not paying that much but I'm very curious so signed up anyway.
