  1. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

I was fully ready to sell my early order but now Iā€™m pretty sure I know why Elon didnā€™t want to allow it and why Iā€™m cancelling instead. He wanted to avoid the fact that people would naturally take a loss instead of selling a prize.
  2. Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

Whenā€™s the last time ford under promised on mileage up until the day they delivered it? They ever come 200 miles short on range and then say nothing? Probably not because they donā€™t have a sycophant fan base that would do the PR work for them free of charge. also, youā€™re absolutely paying for...
  3. Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

letā€™s be honest. Youā€™re coping, hard. A brand new vehicle isnā€™t going to need that maintenance and thatā€™s what youā€™re comparing it to. Iā€™ve never replaced any of those parts on a vehicle under 10 years old (discounting semiā€™s.) compare what you can get for $70k and not a vehicle that you can...
  4. Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

how much have you considered just waiting 10 years and driving an ice truck until then? I was fully on board but now itā€™s just a nonstarter since this is a beta version of what was promised
  5. Cybertruck Delivery Event LIVE STREAM Link & Viewing Party! šŸ„³ -- Post photos, reactions & comments šŸ’¬

So for anyone watching the live stream reaction on YouTube versus Twitter, were you scratching your head down to your skull when he kept saying 340 mile range was better than expected? The proud sycophant personality needs to die. Were we supposed to expect half the stated range?
  6. Cybertruck Delivery Event LIVE STREAM Link & Viewing Party! šŸ„³ -- Post photos, reactions & comments šŸ’¬

This is officially a Cybergrocery getter time for diesel over electric trucks. Makes sense that they showed the 1/4 mile because thatā€™s about all itā€™s good for
  7. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

I understand that Iā€™m technically not guaranteed the specs listed or even a vehicle at all because I assumed the legal dept. had Tesla covered even though the plain text of the email says: ā€œThank you for your order, Your cybertruck order is confirmedā€ For someone who was actually mislead, itā€™s...
  8. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

I get that you can call it whatever it ended up being but it most certainly was a ā€œpre order.ā€ Itā€™s in the title of my order confirmation from Tesla. I have no illusions to what Iā€™m owed. I knew musk wasnā€™t reliable for anything but T$LA. Iā€™m just fairly judging the information as it becomes...
  9. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

to be fair. Tesla took money down on preorders for a cybertruck that could do all that and they just need to come out and say if itā€™s even in the cards
  10. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

itā€™s going to be a great vehicle if itā€™s under $65,000 to compete with the f150. But even then, you can get a newer diesel that will outperform it across the board unless youā€™re just doing 0-60ā€™s in it.
  11. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

Yeah, few people regurgitating that this is on par with EV vehicles. Thatā€™s entirely beside the point of the the announced cybertruck which was supposed to be competing with ICE to offset the market. If this turns out to be a truck thatā€™s main feature is that it looks peculiar but with no...
  12. 2024 Cybertruck Official Specs Leaked?! šŸ˜± - Udated With Compare/Analysis

I really hope that 11k tow rating is for the bottom spec and Elon isnā€™t still waiting to break the news that he fell 30% short of what was promised four years ago. Some of us were hoping to get more than groceries with this
  13. Earliest Cybertrucks may get federal tax credit (400k more Teslas will qualify under GREEN Act)

Thatā€™s over the world. There wonā€™t be any US tax incentives for China
  14. What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

Agreed. Hopefully we can curb some expectations because the cybertruck is not a replacement for diesel 3/4 tons. I mean Iā€™m replacing one but I dont have to haul 15,000 lbs further than 40 miles a day. Mostly shorter than that even and itā€™s seasonal. The rest of that $70k goes toward ā€œcybertruck...
  15. What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

A lot less than I thought. $4500 to go to 21ā€ wheels from 19ā€ $1500 for two upgrades interior options beyond black $10,000 for full self driving
  16. What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

I feel like I havenā€™t been paying attention then. I was thinking something like the model s could have quite a bit tacked on in options.
  17. What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

Iā€™m wondering where everyone thinks the price will be when you spec it out all the way and what those features could be that arenā€™t included in the $70k price tag that would be in letā€™s say a $70k Chevy 2500HD.
