I have the same issue and I usually get the rattle to stop by putting my fingers in the air vent and applying a little pressure. Driving on gravel roads, it is almost constant but on pavement it's only occasionally. I did take it to a SC but they said they couldn't find anything and put on some...
I have been surprised at how good the parking has become lately. It used to be too slow so would park myself. Now there is very little hesitation and has started backing into spaces at my grocery store. At home, I back into the garage. Living in the country with no cross street on the driveway...
The camera ones aren't the only feeble clips. Changed my windshield wiper last week and somehow broke one of the clips holding the washer hose in the wiper arm.:(
Tesla is not worried about the California order:
Tesla North America
@tesla_na
This was a “consumer protection” order about the use of the term “Autopilot” in a case where not one single customer came forward to say there’s a problem. Sales in California will continue...
Don't remember where I read it but someone was claiming that the 2026 models got about a 5% improvement on winter range. That alone would have made me go for the new build so congrats on getting the latest/greatest.
The only reason I would probably ever get rid of my '24 AWD would be a bigger...
And they have the brilliance to do this the same week they have removed the monitors in Austin Robotaxis?
People are posting videos of complete drives from their garage to a destination. Tesla will probably tie this up in court long enough to have FSD approved by the Feds or some states making...
I also have the Duratracs. Glad I bought them when I did. These are $500 more expensive and if it's to pay for the terrible wheel covers it's a bad deal. I've not had any good luck with the covers and went with the SinAlpha covers.
Well I just received this email tonight. Am interested but with all the feedback of people having problems with it, not sure I'm ready to bite. Also looking at possibly moving next year so hoping the deals will still be there next year.
I live in North Dakota and get my AWD last December. Had the all-seasons and they weren't very good on the compacted snow or ice so ordered the winter tire package from Tesla after a month. Very happy with their performance on snow/ice/mud.
If he is saving $30k in fuel costs in a year, the savings on other maintenance(oil changes etc) and time spent on that maintenance and time wasted fueling an ICE truck probably add another 10-15% on top of that.
My guess is that it has to do with the cybertruck having a 800V battery. My A2Z adapter has not worked on 2 different CCS chargers and my guess is that those chargers hung up on a request for 800V charging.
Same with me on the drain. Don't have sentry on at home and the truck will take 3-4% daily sitting in the garage. The MY that I had was far better with it only taking about 1% in 2 days. And the truck has a much larger battery.
I received an invite to order and was quite shocked to get that today. My reservation is 113193xxx and I live in North Dakota. I do own a MY so I'm already a Tesla customer. I'll probably wait a week or two before deciding(I've got 2 more reservations). It's a bit of a issue with finances since...
Well, they are now over 4 weeks into the reservation list. I put my order in on 12/26/19 with a 113193... number and received an invite yesterday. I'm a hard pass on a Foundation truck.
I bought my MY in late November of '22 and 6 weeks later it's 20k cheaper thanks to a 13k price cut and 7.5k...
I caught that and was very happy to hear that. Not sure if they use two inverters on the semi since it will need so much power but if the Cybertruck has an inverter that is put to use in a Class 8 semi that means there will be lots of power available. Heavy load or not, the Cybertruck WILL haul ass.
Well, I think this is really good news for those worried about Cybertruck pricing. Does this mean Tesla has to match Ford pricing? I don't think so as I believe the CT will be a much better truck. But Ford also has competition coming from Chevy also and the F150 is their lifeblood. Bit tired of...
The article didn't have any numbers to the mass production goal. So is it 1,000/week 3,000/week? Whatever their goal is for the end of '23, they still know they need to ramp up production after that. And I'm hoping I'm wrong, but my guess is that even at the end of '23 there will still be issues...
