Has anyone tried this? It seems like the only way to tow 5th wheel, and may be a great option. I can't find any kind of pricing anywhere for it.
Replacing my 2000 For Excursion. I will likely sell it instead of trade-in. I will miss the extra seats dearly, but the power, capability and gas savings will make up for it.
That is a good point. If we had a pull-through every 50 miles 1 would probably be enough. In my specific situation, I am often towing a cargo trailer and traveling with someone else towing an RV trailer, so I would nearly always need 2 pull-through stalls to avoid unhooking.
One pull through for trailers is likely enough in most areas, but it would be smart to always have at least 2 for future proofing. I will be towing with my CT 2-4 days every month.
I will be towing a lot, so I will get the longest range option. If I can get the same extended range with 2 motors as 3 or 4 then I'll get the cheaper 2 motor with bigger battery. If I have to spring $120k and wait an extra year to get 650 miles of range, then I'll do that.
