How about a mounted pistol holster that is out of sight but easily accessible that does not require drilling holes into the mounting surface (perhaps on the front lower portion of center console/armrest, below the wireless phone chargers). Must have good retention under breaking, but be easy to...
I wouldn't right now... I beleive if you update your order it resets your pricing on FSD (Unless you didn't get FSD). Also, I know you USED to be able to go in and change your order, but I doubt it's possible now since you can't even select a motor variant when reserving a new one at this point...
I have a feeling that HW4 is going to finally bring 360 camera view.. if correct, a higher mounted camera would certainly be better for providing a viewpoint more suited for that, I would think?
Right, but if the tonnneau cover is partly up, you wouldn't be able to see the window through it... it would be blocking the view of any window or wall in the front of the bed.
I wouldn't be suprirsed if the top of the tailgate hinged up while the tailgate is down (while in motion) to allow the camera you see there to have a better angle... although, with "no part is the best part" mindset, a 360 camera that's programmed to have a specific view in each position would...
I think the lack of light can be attributed to the fact that the tonnneau cover is partly open/closed. I believe the upper "lip" (or the back of the roofline, if you will) is where the tonnneau cover rolls under, and that the lower portion behond that is the beginning of the tonnneau cover...
Agreed... however until that is legal, I'll still need a mirror in the interim. Don't get me wrong, I'll go full camera as soon as it's available... but I still need to haul my boat without having to worry about FHP...lol.
While I 100% agree with everyone on the asthetics of the new mirror (looking better), for those of us that tow, most states REQUIRE that you have mirrors that allow you to see past your load a certain amount of distance (the law/distance differs from state to state). The larger mirrors would...
Looking at the mirrors, it might be that Elon already has a camera designed/installed into the mirror standoff so that if/when camera based side mirrors get legalized, you could remove the mirror and the camera would still have a wider view for towing, and would still be a sleek look. (Or in the...
Wish we knew how tall these people are.. would help with proportions... It looks like it might be a bit shorter than the prototype (comparing gap between wheel and top of wheel well for adjusted height comparison)
I hope I'm wrong... I'm 6'4" and want it to feel spacious inside... But it looks...
