LOL,
Read your post, thought to self "Sure lucky arse lives in the US, easy to just hop down to Austin"
Looked at your location, then thought to self "Ah, yes, always look before you comment to confirm you aren't just being the Ass in assume".
Long flight to take a chance!
I think if you google...
That's because everyone who has voted nil is lying, probably hoping to hell people at Tesla don't think it's a great idea. Seriously, $20 a week to upgrade for a year, not a single person who has ordered and is really going to take delivery would turn that down.
Interesting take, I was thinking of what happens after a dump on our F150 and down would make a mountain there, but with the unique CT shape you could very well be right. Can't wait to find out!
Wonder if it's going to stow at bottom or on side like we've seen in pics. If it stows up on the side, then the first stroke in the snow after a snow event (without using a brush first) would be to push the snow down.
Maybe they'll have a winter stow position that is down when parked.
I spoke with the owner of a gas station that hosts one of the superchargers up here. Tesla doesn't pay rent for the space. The deal is, you host, you get the passenger traffic that your restaurant/c-store can benefit from.
Under that kind of model, I think having owners commit to allocating the...
Very location specific. In our area, all but one of the Supercharger locations have spots that would not block anyone when leaving the trailer attached, so common sense would need to prevail.
If you can't back your trailer up, please spend a holiday weekend in a mall parking lot and learn to do...
Really Really Really Really hope they offer an option to have a secondary charging port in the front or else trailer towing will continue to be a nightmare. Trust me, in the middle of the winter at -20 with the wind howling, hopping out to disconnect the trailer is NOT FUN.
Yes, I'd also read their specs and saw the 200 kWh battery, and the flat ground 55 mph test. Combine these two things and all of a sudden, 1200 km 750 miles just doesn't come across as all that earth shattering. I guess that you may get more of the charge cycle at a higher speed since there's...
Ha, rims match my X winters. Really hoping grill has a towing charge port as only one SC in our area has a pull in configuration.
We're around 73000, wait is just so painful, but will be worth it.
Ordered at 08:00ish the morning after, couldn't connect during the event.
Ended up around 40Kish, and around 12Kish on Dual Motor.
Of course we're in Canadaland so it really depends on when they start delivering up here.
