Thank you for your post. I think your experience is a cautionary tale that perhaps a new buyer of a $100K vehicle rents a Tesla or EV first and drives one for a couple of weeks before driving one owned off the lot. I am in your category, closer to retirement and have never owned an EV or hybrid.

The dealer doesn’t care. All this free advertising is a loss-leader.

A new spouse will cost you a lot more than a FS CT.

For the record, I am neither a hater of Tesla nor the CT; in fact, I am on the waiting list for the CT. But I do appreciate accuracy and the facts, as do all of you on this platform :)
