  2. First Cybertruck down while offroading! Rear steering tie-rod broken @ KOH (by Unplugged Performance)

Ah, missed that. I’ve watched videos on YT that test the strength of different bolt grades - pretty cool to watch. Looks like they spec’d the wrong grade bolt for the CT.
  3. First Cybertruck down while offroading! Rear steering tie-rod broken @ KOH (by Unplugged Performance)

yup, basic physics 101 - classical mechanics. That being said, usually things are overbuilt by at least 20%. Question is, did the wheels and tires introduce greater than 20% force? I doubt it. I think that stamped upper control arm is garbage.
  4. First Cybertruck down while offroading! Rear steering tie-rod broken @ KOH (by Unplugged Performance)

oh, good to know it won’t snap with the OEM wheels/tires.
  5. Check out the rear legroom, storage space w/ back seats folded up, and huge glass roof

Not a fan of working in the front seat - steering wheel is there and the sun can be annoying. I’ll just wait a decade for the Tesla Van to come out 🤣
  6. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

Seriously! They are basically all over $100K now. Ferdinand must be rolling over in his grave. Fun fact: he made a battery electric vehicle in 1900. Wayyyy ahead of Tesla 🤣.
  7. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

Sorry, I’m old school German, I’ll never accept an SUV as a Porsche 🤣
  8. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

I have the exact same thoughts as above. Logically it makes more sense for me to get an X or even a Y and keep my current tow vehicle.
  9. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

Yup, the stats that are coming out are really disappointing, especially the towing range. I think it's fine if you treat it as an expensive toy.
  10. Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

Ok, mid to low 200's at 85mph is good enough for me. I do on average 1 trip a month that's over 200 miles.
  11. Range for AWD Cybertruck after many real world tests

The CT isn’t going to work for my long distance travel that I do on a regular basis. However, a Model Y will work to replace my wife’s vehicle so I’ll probably go with one of those (she says the CT is too flashy for her to drive).
  12. Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

At the end of the day, how many miles can I drive at 85mph with the AC on? That’s what matters in SoCal.
  13. Range for AWD Cybertruck after many real world tests

I’m normally doing 85-90. 75 is the slow lane. CT doesn’t seem to be for me. Oh well.
  14. Spotted: Cybertruck towing travel trailer (Coachmen Apex Ultralite)

Great, now I have hook up two devices to the supercharger.
